Sono stata operata dalla meravigliosa persona del Prof. Platania e sottolineo PERSONA. Conoscevo già la bravura professionale di quest'uomo, ma la cosa che mi ha colpito principalmente è stata l'umanità e la gentilezza ,che ormai sono doti rare, soprattutto tra i medici (doti riscontrate in tutto lo staff di neurochirurgia ed anestesia). Ho fatto tesoro di una frase da lui detta ad una signora che non poteva parlare e con la quale lui ha avuto una dolcezza estrema :" bisogna impiegare il tempo, non sprecarlo" . Grazie ancora di tutto. Professionalism and courtesy make this structure a center of excellence. I was operated by the wonderful person of Prof. Platania and I emphasize PERSON. I already knew the professional skill of this man, but the thing that mainly struck me was humanity and kindness, which are now rare qualities, especially among doctors (qualities found in all the staff of neurosurgery and anesthesia). Personale, medici, infermieri e assistenti sempre disponibili e umanamente vicino al paziente e ai propri familiari. Una struttura che le altre ne dovrebbero prendere esempio. Complimenti e grazie a tutto il personale della casa di cura. Bravissimi. Un grazie particolare al Dott. Giannone e al Dott. Romeo. This is the second time that we have resorted to the care of this nursing home in the family. Personnel, doctors, nurses and assistants always available and humanly close to the patient and their families. A structure that others should take as an example. Sono rimasto molto soddisfatto del grado di pulizia e dell'accoglienza ricevuta. Personale infermieristico presente h24 gentile , disponibile e professionale hanno fatto di tutto per non farmi sentire solo in tempi di restrizioni dovuti al Covid. Un ringraziamento particolare al prof. Platania , uomo di grande professionalità e umanità, nonché a tutta la sua equipe medica e infermieristica della neurochirurgia. Grazie di cuore a tutti nessuno escluso. ❤ Struttura altamente consigliata. I was operated on at this facility in September 2020 for a spinal stabilization problem in my back. I was very satisfied with the degree of cleanliness and the welcome received. Nursing staff present 24 hours a day, kind, helpful and professional, they did everything to not make me feel alone in times of restrictions due to Covid. A special thanks to prof. Platania, a man of great professionalism and humanity, as well as to all his medical and neurosurgery nursing team. Heartfelt thanks to everyone, no one excluded. ❤ Highly recommended facility.

Sono stato in 3 centri fisioterapici, con procedure e metodi diverse per 3 sett. per ogni centro. Mi sono fatto visitare da 3 neurochirurghi (consulti privati) e dopo 6 mesi di torture, sconfitte e dolori, sconsolato, e senza speranze; Chiesi alla Dott.ssa Melita, FISIOTERAPICA del C.M.C. Catanese, “in modo secco”: lei, da chi si farebbe operare? RISPOSTA SECCA: Dal prof. Nunzio Platania. Contrariamente a quanto fatto prima, mi sono messo subito nelle sue nani, senza esitare, il 7/12/2021 sono stato operato nella clinica Azzurra di Siracusa dove lui dirige il reparto di neurochirurgia lombare, e da quel momento. LA RINASCITA!!! Non più dolore, attività motoria 10/10 e lunedì 20/12/2O21 vado per togliere i punti. Sono tornato ad essere l’uomo pieno di vita e carico di energia di una volta. I MIRACOLI ESISTONO!!! Solo oggi 18/12/2021, dopo oltre 10 giorni dall’intervento, senza dolore, incredulo, ho scritto queste due righe. Grazie dal profondo del cuore. Lunedi 20/12/2021 ci vediamo per la 2 visita e guardandola negli occhi, come fece lei alla mia 1• visita, le dirò GRAZIEeeeee.. I went to see 3 neurosurgeons (private consultations) and after 6 months of torture, defeat and pain, disconsolate and hopeless; I asked Dr. Melita, PHYSIOTHERAPY of the C.M.C. Catanese, “in a dry way”: who would you have operated on? DRY ANSWER: From prof. Nunzio Platania. Contrary to what I had done before, I immediately put myself in his dwarfs, without hesitation, on 7/12/2021 I was operated on in the Azzurra clinic in Syracuse where he directs the lumbar neurosurgery department, and ever since. THE REBIRTH!!! No more pain, motor activity 10/10 and Monday 12/20/21 I go to remove the stitches. I am back to being the man full of life and full of energy of the past. MIRACLES EXIST !!! Only today 18/12/2021, after more than 10 days from the surgery, without pain, incredulous, I wrote these two lines. Thanks from the bottom of my heart. L'unica nota negativa è l'attesa, ma comprensibile perché dopo aver vissuto la mia esperienza ho capito che i pazienti siamo tantissimi ma purtroppo il professore è uno, quindi l'attesa è comprensibile. Un ringraziamento va a tutto il personale, qualificato e competente. Ció che mi rimarrà sempre nel cuore è il sorriso che ognuno di loro mi ha donato, che vale più di un antidolorifico. Grazie di cuore a tutti. I was operated on day 6 in this excellent clinic by Professor Platania, a very human and prepared person who does his job with professionalism. The only negative note is the wait, but understandable because after having lived my experience I realized that there are many patients but unfortunately the professor is one, so the wait is understandable.
