The place where you can have a good croissant in the morning when you get up. Pastas and pastries are also excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Da bambina papà mi viziava con i pasticcini della pasticceria Europa, anche le torte di compleanno le facevamo fare da loro. In particolare, io ho sempre adorato i bignè ripieni di crema pasticcera e chantilly. Non c'è stata sorpresa più bella di quando, qualche anno fa, li ho riassaggiati: ho ritrovato lo stesso gusto squisito, genuino, dei bignè della mia infanzia, quasi 20 anni fa! Addirittura la carta per confezionarli mi sembra la stessa di allora!
Questo per dirvi che per fortuna esistono ancora posticino autentici, che non si piegano alla massificazione generale ma riescono a mantenere gusti e tradizioni originali!
Ormai tutte le volte che torno in Calabria passo da Filadelfia per ritrovare i miei bignè :)
As a child my father spoiled me with the pastries of the European pastry shop, even the birthday cakes were made by them. In particular, I have always loved cream puffs filled with custard and chantilly. There was no surprise more beautiful than when, a few years ago, I reassembled them: I found the same exquisite taste, genuine, of the puffs of my childhood, almost 20 years ago! Even the paper to make them seems the same as it was then!
This is to tell you that luckily there are still authentic niches, which do not yield to the general massification but manage to maintain original tastes and traditions!
Now every time I come back to Calabria I go to Philadelphia to find my cream puffs :)
