Sono tornata a New York dopo tanti anni con mio figlio. Sono rimasta un po' delusa dalla città, è cambiata è più caotica e un po' più sporca ... e forse io quando sono andata le altre volte ero più giovane :- ), ma rimane pur sempre una città da vedere. Volo splendido, albergo consigliato da Giuseppe Gianassi di Cartorange, molto carino e in un punto strategico della città. Vicino anche diversi locali per fare colazione/cena a buon prezzo. Da New York con il treno ho raggiunto Washington dove sono stata purtroppo un solo giorno. Ho comunque visto il Capitol Hill la Casa Bianca e ho fatto una breve vistia al Cimitero di Harlington e a George Town. Penso che tornerò a Washington con più calma.
Per chi comunque non ha mai visto NY vale la pena mio figlio (14 anni) ne è rimasto affascinato.
Ringrazio come sempre Cartorange per l'organizzazione ... al prossimo viaggio ... forse in oriente !!!!

New York and Washington
I returned to New York after many years with my son. I was a little disappointed by the city, it has changed it's more chaotic and a little dirtier ... and maybe when I went the other times I was younger :-), but it still remains a city to see. Splendid flight, hotel recommended by Giuseppe Gianassi of Cartorange, very nice and in a strategic point of the city. Also nearby are several places to have breakfast / dinner at a good price. From New York by train I reached Washington where I was unfortunately only one day. I did however see Capitol Hill the White House and did a brief sighting at Harlington Cemetery and George Town. I think I will return to Washington more calmly.
For those who have never seen NY, however, my son (14 years old) is worth it.
I always thank Cartorange for the organization ... next trip ... maybe in the east !!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di conoscere Paola Di Girolamo, consulente per viaggiare di Cartorange che ci ha aiutato ad impostare il viaggio addatto a noi. Nonostante il difficile periodo Covid che ha impedito la programmazione del viaggio negli Usa, siamo riusciti grazie ai suoi consigli a riprogrammare un itinerario adatto alle nostre aspettative. Simpatica, sempre presente e molto preparata anche in campo normativo, mi sento di consigliarla vivamente.

We were lucky enough to meet Paola Di Girolamo, Cartorange's travel consultant who helped us set up the right trip for us. Despite the difficult Covid period that prevented the planning of the trip to the USA, thanks to his advice, we were able to reschedule an itinerary suited to our expectations. Nice, always present and very prepared also in the regulatory field, I feel I can highly recommend her.
