Carrefour Market - Napoli Imbriani

This supermarket gave me the worst experience possible! The employees were super impolite and obviously lazy to work. I went there last Friday (13.07.18) around 23:20 with the idea that the shop works until midnight, and I will have enough time to buy what I wanted. I wanted to buy a lot of Italian products because I was leaving the city on Saturday. Unfortunately, I couldn't do it because both employees, a guard and a cashier, refused to work after 23:45 and told me to stop shopping and go to pay immediately. That happened at 23:35. When I told them that the official working time of the supermarket is 24:00, i.e. midnight, they told me that this time is wrong, and they are supposed to work only until 23:45, and that there is another sign on the entrance door where it's written that the supermarket works only until 23:45. Moreover, they made me more problems for the fact that I wanted to pay by credit card and not in cash. However, after I paid, I looked for the sign on my way out where it should've been stated the shorter working time, and it was there, but it was more like a note than a sign, i.e. a small piece of paper that people would hardly notice. I don't know how official that small sign is, but if the management of the supermarket has actually approved it, then the sign stating a working time until 24:00 should be replaced with a new one. Moreover, I went to that specific supermarket because I found it on Google maps where it's stated that the shop works 24 hours, but it actually works until 24:00 and opens again in the early morning. I don't know who deals with the digital marketing of the market chain but all this must be corrected! If I have to start with the quality of the food there, I don't know where to start from - there was pecorino cheese and one another type with nuts that were all moldy, most of the cherry tomatoes sold per kg were rotten, as well as some of the fruits, etc. It's really a pity that I had such a bad experience with that particular supermarket given that a couple of days earlier I went to another Carrefour (i.e. the one close to the castle on the hill) where I had wonderful experience. One thing is clear, I will NOT go back to that supermarket next time when I'm in Naples!!!

Very good and large selection of products.. I was a bit lost to find what I was looking for and I was pleasantly surprised when the lady at the sushi counter in a friendly manner offered her assistance. Super friendly and super service! A rare thing in Italy!

The best place to do your shopping in Vomero district. Fresh products always available, plenty of variety in goods and the staff is very nice and helpful. Good selection of fresh fish and meat

Good selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, dry and baked goods.....and wine! The selection of fresh fish is nice, as I do not eat chicken, pork or beef. They also have plenty of choices for vegetarians such as meat substitutes and legumes.

Well stocked but staff totally disinterested.

Open 24/7 and has everything you need on a holiday.

Ideal market specially for tourists Good quality Prices are little bit high but you can find almost everything you want

Decent supermarket with good quality but limited choices as it is fairly small for a Carrefour. It is relatively pricey but it is located in the fever of the city. Great cheese, cold cuts and fish selection. It can get busy on weekends.
