Tipici di questo carnevale sono gl'inni che risuonano tra le vie del centro storico e ballati da gruppi in maschera che prececedono i colorati carri allegorici alti quanto quattro pianidi un palazzo. La maschera simbolo del Carnevale di Sciacca è il Peppe 'Nappa che ogni anno apre le sfilate; dal carro vengono distribuite salsicce calde, caramelle e vino.
La festa si conclude con il "Rogo del Peppe 'Nappa".
The happiest carnival in Italy.
Typical of this carnival are the hymns that resound in the streets of the historic center and danced by masked groups that precede the colorful allegorical floats as high as four floors of a building. The symbolic mask of the Sciacca Carnival is the Peppe 'Nappa which opens the parades every year; hot sausages, candies and wine are distributed from the wagon.
The party ends with the "Rogo del Peppe 'Nappa".
