Poche persone che hanno a cuore l'edificio portano fiori e lumini per darle un po' di vita. Il manufatto in questione è la Chiesetta della Madonna dell'Olivastro o della Madonna delle Vasche (Località Ripari di Giobbe). È una chiesa campestre; un tempo cappella dei pescatori; costruita intorno al XVIII secolo. Ha una struttura molto semplice a navata unica e a causa dell'abbandono è molto difficile distinguerla se non fosse per la croce sul timpano, per la decorazione della porta e per il campanile a vela senza campana. Necessita urgenti lavori di restauro degli intonaci e del tetto affinché sia più decorosa, ma soprattutto, di tutela per le opere d'arte che contiene in stato di degrado quasi totale. Alcuni resti di un affresco si diramano nella parete dell'altare. Sono riconoscibili le forme di una mano e il viso di una Santa o della Madonna. Nell'altare una statua di una Madonna e un crocifisso arricchiscono la povera chiesetta. Few people who care about the building bring flowers and candles to give it some life. The building in question is the Church of the Madonna dell'Olivastro or of the Madonna delle Vasche (Location Ripari di Giobbe). It is a country church; once the fishermen's chapel; built around the eighteenth century. It has a very simple structure with a single nave and due to abandonment it is very difficult to distinguish it if it were not for the cross on the tympanum, for the decoration of the door and for the bell tower without a bell. It needs urgent restoration work on the plaster and roof to make it more dignified, but above all, to protect the works of art it contains in a state of almost total degradation. Some remains of a fresco branch off into the altar wall. The shapes of a hand and the face of a Saint or Madonna are recognizable. In the altar a statue of a Madonna and a crucifix enrich the poor church.
