Accoglienza fatta dalla proprietaria gestita in modo cortese e simpatico, spiegazioni dettagliate della loro produzione con visita alla cantina e agli impianti. Degustazione dei loro vini, dal grignolino, passando per il barbera ed il Nizza per finire con un ruche', vino eccezionale i cui profumi di rosa, spezie, neroli continuano anche sul palato. Vino veramente superbo. Potrei continuare per complimentarmi ma è meglio lasciare ad ognuno sperimentare la qualità di questi vini.

Great experience, amazing host and the wines make you sooo happy

My visit to Dacapo/Cá ed Balos winery and farmhouse included a tasting of perfectly crafted wines and a stay in the Dacapo farmhouse, which offers views of the most gorgeous countryside I’ve ever seen! This place is paradise on earth! It is a gorgeous, lovely winery in a BEAUTIFUL and peaceful setting! Do not miss it! The setting of this winery literally looks like a scene taken from a Hollywood movie set- trust me, it is actually that beautiful and absolutely awesome! Picture this: rolling green hills covered in grape vines, beautiful countryside views with Alps in the distance, and a charming villa that houses the winery - those are all here in abundance. We stayed in their amazing rental apartment/“Farmhouse” for a night and really enjoyed it. It was such a unique part of our trip to Italy and a perfect end to our two-week trip! Read below for my review on both the apartment and wines: The rental apartment/farmhouse: It is beautifully renovated throughout, but still has an authentic farmhouse feel that makes it truly unique. You walk through the front door into a light and airy room featuring high ceilings, exposed beams, a stone accent wall, a modern kitchen, fireplace, and very comfortable and clean furnishings. The thoughtful touches and decorations throughout the space make it feel like staying inside a family’s lovely home. It had so much more beauty and character than the hotels I stayed in during the other parts of my trip. It was also nicer and cleaner than other hotels I stayed in around Italy that were supposedly “4 stars!” I loved looking out the large windows overlooking the rolling green hills and surrounding vineyards. The patio/terrace in the back creates an extra outdoor space for fun gatherings overlooking the scenery. The beds were comfortable and clean. Also, I felt that it was really thoughtful of the owners to provide full-sized toiletries for us, a washing machine with available laundry detergent, coffee/tea, and kitchen supplies including basic cooking necessities like olive oil, salt, and pepper. The bedrooms were simply and beautifully furnished with some really cool antique Italian wooden furnishings and fixtures, and the spacious bathroom was updated with modern fixtures and a washing machine. Everything was perfect!!! The family who owns the property/winery is the most wonderful, welcoming, and kind family! While staying in the apartment, they went above and beyond to make it an enjoyable and comfortable stay for us. The wine: The BEST wine that I tried during my two week trip in Italy! The owners are passionate about their wines, proud of the products they craft, and they are knowledgeable about the wine making process. It is also an added bonus that these wines are crafted in small batches and the grapes are grown naturally, without the use of fertilizers. The wines are honestly outstanding! We had a tasting of several of the bottles they offer. Da Capo’s Nizza, the Barbera d’Asti, and the Cá ed Balos Moscato Di’Asti DOCG were my three favorites and are absolutely delicious. I will be ordering some bottles from them to ship home as soon as possible! If you are in the Langhe region or even staying in Milan and looking for an escape to the countryside, don’t miss this winery/farmhouse!!! You will have a lovely time and fall in love with the scenery and the wines! The owners will treat you like family, and you will not regret your visit here!

Great winery and wine with a charming holiday apartment. The welcoming hosts gave an informative and interesting tour of the winery and then did a wine tasting- I particularly loved their Nizza wine and got a few bottles. The apartment is very spacious and located above the winery right in the heart of the vineyard. It’s very clean and comfortable, especially with the air conditioning in the summer, and there are nice amenities like toiletries and everything you need in the kitchen. It was a really great stay and holiday, I highly recommend it!
