F	Federica Di Stasio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trovandoci nei pressi delle terme di Sassuolo abbiamo deciso di pranzare in questa enosteria e devo dire che non potevamo scegliere posto migliore!il posto, molto caratteristico e accogliente, è situato all'interno della "Rocchetta" di Castellarano; la cucina è ottima,in particolare la carne (noi scegliendo uno delle 4 proposte di menù fisso ,avevamo la grigliata mista),viene cotta per lunghissimo tempo a fiamma bassa rendendola morbidissima,succosa e ricca di sapore! Personale cordiale ,servizio eccellente. Lo consigliamo vivamente e non vediamo l'ora di tornarci! Finding ourselves near the thermal baths of Sassuolo we decided to have lunch in this enosteria and I must say that we could not have chosen a better place! The place, very characteristic and welcoming, is located inside the "Rocchetta" of Castellarano; the cuisine is excellent, in particular the meat (we choosing one of the 4 fixed menu proposals, we had the mixed grill), it is cooked for a very long time over low heat making it very soft, juicy and full of flavor! Friendly staff, excellent service. We highly recommend it and can't wait to go back!

Per chi ha difficoltà a camminare può essere un problema perché pieno di scale. L'arredamento è semplice, tipica trattoria. Antipasto molto buono, scelta di vini buona, al calice solo due proposte. Tortelli discreti (buona la pasta ma non completamente cotta nella chiusura, ripieno un po' asciutto ma saporito). Risotto buono, ben mantecato. La carne per i miei gusti troppo cotta, preferisco una tagliata non troppo cotta. Patate al forno buonissime. Il servizio cortese. Avevano sbagliato il nostro conto, ma ci hanno chiamato al telefono 2 minuti dopo per avvertirci che avevamo pagato di più, eravamo ancora al parcheggio, siamo tornati in dietro e ci hanno dato la differenza. Gentilissimi. The restaurant is located inside the Castellarano Castle. Very nice location. For those who have difficulty walking it can be a problem because it is full of stairs. The furniture is simple, typical restaurant. Very good appetizer, good choice of wines, only two proposals by the glass. Discrete tortelli (good pasta but not completely cooked in the closure, filling a little dry but tasty). Good risotto, well creamed. The meat for my taste is too overcooked, I prefer a cut that is not overcooked. Yummy baked potatoes. The courteous service. They had our bill wrong, but they called us on the phone 2 minutes later to tell us that we had paid more, we were still in the parking lot, we went back and gave us the difference. Very kind.

Giada ci ha seguit divinamente dall'antipasto al dolce, senza dimenticare il vino che ha mantenuto l'allegria al tavolo Fantastic .... the girl who accompanied us for lunch was fantastic .. Il locale ha tantissime sale ma anche spazi all’aperto dedicati alle serate estive. La proposta è ricca e con diverse possibilità di menù fisso. Abbiamo scelto il bis di primi, gnocchi e tigelle accompagnato da una buona bottiglia di Sangiovese. I piatti soddisfano la vista ma soprattutto il palato e la pancia! Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, porzioni abbondanti e bellissima atmosfera, arricchita da un servizio attento, cordiale e alla mano. Ciao Dino! ? Abbiamo optato per il menu degustazione di carne. Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta dalla freschezza e dalla qualitá dei prodotti (erano presenti anche cruditès) Consiglio vivamente la picanha. Cottura e sapore veramente ottimi. Ampia scelta di vini (in caso di dubbi il personale è prontissimo a darvi una mano per gli abbinamenti) Servizio celere, personale preparato e molto alla mano. Torneró sicuramente! Undoubtedly very suggestive location. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. The proposed menu is varied, mainly based on traditional food and meat. We opted for the meat tasting menu. I was very satisfied with the freshness and quality of the products (cruditès were also present) I highly recommend the picanha. Really good cooking and flavor. Wide choice of wines (in case of doubts the staff is ready to help you with the pairings) Prompt service, trained and very friendly staff. I will definitely be back!

La cantina degna di nota e il menu, visibile accedendo al sito web, tradizionale e con menu carne al giusto costo. Provata una fiorentina, cotta bene e con un filetto niente male. Essendo appassionato di bistecche, preferirei vederla servita con una pietra calda, così da poterla scottare prima di mangiarla… punti di vista. Torneremo Enchanting place immersed in the "old" medieval village well preserved. The style of the restaurant respects the history of the beautiful fortified village. The noteworthy cellar and the menu, visible by accessing the website, traditional and with meat menu at the right cost. Tried a Florentine, cooked well and with a pretty good fillet. Being a steak enthusiast, I'd rather see it served with a hot stone, so I can sear it before eating it… points of view. We'll be back

Risotto seemed to be warmed in the microwave before being served. Tigelle were dry, gnocco fritto was served cold. Cheese and jam were from the supermarket (seemed like breakfast in a cheap hotel). But the most unpleasant thing was the service, the girl that served us was literally rude without any reason, she seemed really annoyed. The price was OK because we took fixed price menù, but taking into the account the quality of food, they should charge less.
