January 16, 2022. Only 3 tracks are groomed, including the baby track. the chairlifts are very slow, there is little snow on the slopes resulting in dirt and stones.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posso capire le difficoltà oggettive dello sci sull’Appennino, soprattutto a Schia dove il clima non aiuta (fa molto caldo). Tuttavia, tenere aperte delle piste in queste condizioni è scorretto, oltre che pericoloso; manto di neve insufficiente e piste piene di sassi, ma la condizione viene segnalata solamente a monte della seggiovia (mentre al momento di fare lo ski pass giornaliero, che costa comunque 32€, risulta tutto aperto e funzionante). Sciare così è pericoloso, se va bene si rovinano gli sci e se va male ci si fa male, appunto. La condizione di scarso innevamento andrebbe segnalata a valle, non dopo l’acquisto dello ski pass.
I can understand the objective difficulties of skiing on the Apennines, especially in Schia where the climate does not help (it is very hot). However, keeping slopes open in these conditions is incorrect, as well as dangerous; insufficient snow cover and slopes full of stones, but the condition is reported only upstream of the chairlift (while at the time of taking the daily ski pass, which costs 32 € in any case, everything is open and functioning). Skiing like this is dangerous, if it goes well you damage your skis and if it goes badly you get hurt. The poor snow conditions should be reported downstream, not after purchasing the ski pass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this place. The nature all around is superb and from here you can start beautiful easy walks through the forests to reach further amazing views between the surrounding mountains. There's a nice playground for kids, basketball court, beach volley and a small pitch where playing football with friends. And great places where you can grab lovely snacks and lunches too. It's definitely the perfect place where having fun and starting adventures into the nature!
