A	Attilio Pianese on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il paese di Campo di Giove si trova a 1070 m di altezza sul livello del mare, nel cuore del parco nazionale della Majella, sul versante ovest della montagna ed è contornato da una natura verde, con boschi di faggi e di pini e possibilità di molteplici passeggiate in un ambiente naturale spettacolare. I servizi per turisti, specie quelli comunali sono in genere carenti o mancanti. In inverno il paese mantiene il solo collegamento verso Sulmona, mentre la strada verso gli impianti sciistici di Roccaraso rimane chiusa da novembre ad aprile per pericolo slavine. Unico accesso alla montagna (escluse le camminate) è costituito dalla seggiovia del Guado di Coccia, che tuttavia non sempre funziona. The village of Campo di Giove is located at 1070 m above sea level, in the heart of the Majella National Park, on the west side of the mountain and is surrounded by green nature, with beech and pine woods and the possibility of multiple walks in a spectacular natural environment. Services for tourists, especially municipal ones, are generally lacking or missing. In winter the town maintains the only connection to Sulmona, while the road to the Roccaraso ski resorts is closed from November to April due to avalanche danger. The only access to the mountain (excluding walks) is the Guado di Coccia chairlift, which however does not always work.

Sicuramente il vicino Roccaraso ha molti più km, ma a Campo di Giove sono più che sufficienti, soprattutto per i meno esperti. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo (3gg di skipass 52 euro e 20 euro un affitto di scarponi+sci). Il gestore, Ugo, è molto amichevole, educato e riesce sempre ad elargire ottimi e onesti consigli. Excellent ski slopes and all colors. Surely the nearby Roccaraso has many more km, but in Campo di Giove they are more than enough, especially for the less experienced. Excellent quality / price ratio (3 days ski pass 52 euros and 20 euros a ski boot + ski rental). The manager, Ugo, is very friendly, polite and always manages to give excellent and honest advice.

Casette natalizie con ottimi prodotti a prezzi più che onesti. Merita una sosta per visitarlo Really nice place with a fantastic view of the Maiella which the photos do not do justice. Very well cared for country. Christmas houses with excellent products at more than fair prices. It deserves a stop to visit it

I	Ivan Barbero on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Località amena nel vero senso del termine, il paese occupa una collina che affaccia su una valle che ha come sfondo le rocce della Maielletta, e l'impianto sciistico locale. Piccolo paese con un centro antico. Gli impianti sciistici dipendono dall'abbondanza di neve ma anche con poca neve il campo scuola con il tapiroulant fa divertire i bambini e i neofiti, se nevica abbondantemente ci sono due skilift e una seggiovia con rifugio a monte (ottimo anche per passeggiate, panorama e pranzo) per qualche km di pista (blu, rossa e nera). L'estate è buon punto base per visitare questa parte di Abruzzo. A pleasant location in the true sense of the term, the town occupies a hill overlooking a valley with the Maielletta rocks as a background, and the local ski resort. Small town with an ancient center. The ski facilities depend on the abundance of snow but even with little snow the school field with the treadmill entertains children and beginners, if it snows abundantly there are two ski lifts and a chairlift with refuge upstream (also excellent for walks, views and lunch ) for a few km of track (blue, red and black). Summer is a good base for visiting this part of Abruzzo.

Ci hanno accompagnati a suon di musica al centro del paese dove vi erano stand di enogastronomia e oggettistica artigianale. Piccolo paese ma di una spettacolare accoglienza e gentilezza. Niente neve ❄ ma se ci fosse stata sarebbe stata veramente uno spettacolo. Da visitare senza dubbio con il treno storico transiberiana It was a very pleasant stop on the historic Trans-Siberian train.
