★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked by email - do i need reservation for 1 tent. They answear, no you dont. Ofcourse when we reached the place i heard "theres no free place". We got a place in the grapes, without electricity. We had to climb to tent every time. The pool is away from the camping.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great cozy campground right in next to a beautiful vineyard. Sanitary facilities clean with great showers. Staff is super helpful and kind improvising to make space for us although already fully booked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice little campsite with spacious pitches. Close to Meran by bike and a lot of hiking opportunities in the mountains nearby. The sound of the river did not really bother us. There is a good Italian restaurant at walking distance. The only reason for not giving five stars is the wifi connection. It is free, but was completely overloaded during the high season. I would prefer to pay for better wifi, instead of having free wifi with an unreliable connection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camping in a nice place next to the vineyard (wine from this vineyard sold at the reception, cca 8E/bottle). Trees provide shade, electricity and water connections are available near each location. There is also a shared fridge / freezer and herb garden. Admission to the nearby swimming pool (200 m) is free for camp guests. Opposite the pool is a great bakery.
Sanitary facilities is clean, the camp is quiet. We didn't need a reservation with a tent. Definitely recommend!

Very clean bathrooms and showers. Mountain Views ! Nice shade from mature trees. Water and unlimited electricity on the pitches. Quiet. My small pitch was just €12 a night. The larger ones are €33.
Note: 13:00-15:00 and 22:00-07:00 the gates are closed except to pedestrians. You can’t come or go by vehicle. The reception is open 09:00-12:00 and 15:00-19:00.
Nice staff. Even lent me a 3 prong to euro plug converter. Slow WiFi internet. Plenty of picnic benches. Quiet and clean clientele. Swimming pool area across the street free to campers! Great pizzeria next door. On the bike path Mals to Merano.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super nice campsite directly on the vineyard with its own wine cellar, unfortunately only for motorhomes although we thought that it must be for cyclists when it’s called Via Claudia Augusta camp.
Merano was completely overcrowded during Easter and there was no place for cyclists with tents to stay. The reception then called the owners and we were exceptionally allowed to camp on the edge of the vineyard and use the sanitary facilities, which was extremely friendly and our last chance to stay overnight. Highly recommended, good atmosphere…
