K	Kath Rutherford on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We moved to this campsite after one night at the dreadful camping baia Lombardi just down the road. San Michel is a quiet family run campsite-the owners were very friendly and welcoming, especially Antonio who spoke good English and for whom nothing was too much trouble: help with bus timetables, printing ferry tickets and generally being cheerful and friendly whenever we saw him! ? The campsite is about 5-6 minutes walk to a nice beach, busy but not too crowded and there are rocks for fishing and you can get to two other beaches over the rocks. There are local buses to vieste and peschici and both towns are not far. The bus to peschici especially is worth it just for the views and winding roads! The campsite was immaculately maintained-beautiful plants and landscaping. Small mini market with homemade produce (jams, olive oils, etc) all at a very good price. I would highly recommend this campsite and return if I am ever in the vicinity again. Price was €21 for two people, camper and electricity. Unlimited hot water for showers and washing-up.
F	Fausta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great place to be if you are planning your trip to go down to the south of Italy. This camping site is a family run business so helpful, friendly and professional. The site is very well kept, clean and beautifully landscaped. Also all the products they sell in their small shop are self produced from wine, olive oil, tomatoes, salad, lemons etc. and various type of cheese. You can sit at the bar, where a children play area is also available, for breakfast or icecream and beer in the eve or have dinner at the Restaurant run also by a family member. Food is great, quality and excellent pizza! When we arrived we were greeted by Antonio, one of the brothers, very professional and helpful, explained everything about the campsite and always available. The beach is less than 10 mins walk and beautiful. Free beaches are available if you want to bring your own umbrella. Last comment I would like to mention is the fact we asked for a mechanic as we dropped the exhaust on our way back from an outing. One of the brothers, Mario, welded it for us, and did not want any compensation! Lovely family and it shows in what they do. V	Vivien Hülsen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay was amazing. Warm welcome, run by a Family with a big heart. We forgot our cable for electricity and they lend us their spare one. Everything was clean and kept very well. Toilets and showers (warm water) included and overall everything for an amazing price. We absolutely recommend this place!

Nice atmosphere among the other guests The camping is close to the beach. the beach is fantastic! Hope to get there again soon
E	Elise HOMAND on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good camping, the cleanest we met! Nice tent pitches under the olive trees and in front of the vineyard / garden. Quiet and peaceful place and it’s close to the beach. Very helpful and kind employees. Definitely one of the best camping of Italy, I think!
T	Tom Lewis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This could take some time. This campsite is set up perfectly for those of us who love a peaceful but immaculately clean place that accepts dogs of any size. There is no pool, or childrens entertainment or loud disco music. What there is, is a staff that will go out of their way to help, the bar is perfect, a small shop sells the essentials plus all their own produce and the toilet and shower facilities are spotless. Guests are mainly Italian older couples with motorhomes or young professional families with tents or in the holiday homes. All are very respectful of one another and again I repeat, all accept the pets of the others are sometimes not perfect! This place deserves to be on the radar of Dutch, Belgian and German campers, they would not be disappointed. The beach is a manageable 150 metre walk and again, dogs are welcome! Amazing for Italy. I love this place and will return frequently.
M	Matthew Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had THE most wonderful stay at the campsite. We originally booked for 5 days but stayed for 10! The campsite is peaceful and quiet and is surrounded on one side with vines and vegetable gardens. The whole family - who are always positive and full of smiles - all work together to make sure one has a great holiday. The small shop sells their own produce and also local and other bits and bobs so we didn't go to a supermarket apart from once :-). We had lovely fish lunches in a restaurant on the harbour in Vieste (called 500 something?) and swimming in the sea is some of the best I've known. The restaurant has a limited menu but what they do offer is perfectly cooked and served with a smile. You can watch the family make the fresh pasta in the morning :-) Lastly, the family are just really lovely and look after you with such positivity. We hope to come back one day. The loos and shower are so so lovely and clean and such nice powerful showers! We will miss them!
C	Casa dos Bolos Bolos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Right in the heart of nature: forest (bring repellent for mosquitoes) and see together, a magical place. We went after the summer high season. The park was almost half full but very quiet. 2mint walking to the nearest sand beach, 15mint by car to Vieste city. Laundry is available. Just wished to have more light in the showers and toilets and soup in the toilets. No internet available. European and Iranian/Turkish toilets available. We arrive after the park was closed but still the manager allow us to stay and check-in.
