Best Campground in Italia

M	Marzena “Mika” Norling on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location by the beach and very close to a park with many dirt roads and paths to take a walk, jog, bicycle and take your dog to. Very clean facilities with private (!) toilet if one wants it, a courtesy car available to borrow (1 hour at a time), daily delivery of fresh bread, vegetables 3 times a week and meat on Fridays ( Nov 2017). A small shop close by. Open the whole year and has good discounts for long-term stay. The one thing we'd like to change is if the drinking water was available at several places through the camping so that we could refill the tank easier.

Only four stars because the staff, even if very friendly and nice, is unprepared when it comes with their own services. They can't help you install their own wifi, and people at the reception doesn't know the price of their own service. A part of that it's a lovely place, highly recommend.
M	Magdaléna Frühaufová on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good equipped camp, showers&toilets very nice and clean. I did not like the sandy surface in the camp, smell and annoying flies which were everywhere because of fields (agriculture) in the neighbourhood.
K	Kaye Perlas on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favorite camping ground in all of Sicily! Pitches are shaded and spacious and most of all the bathrooms and showers are very clean! A lot of annoying flies especially when eating outside but it's not the facility's fault I suppose. We will always come back to this one.

Super clean everywhere with huge showers and private toilets and also a private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas sometimes included in price. Best wastewater service. All camper spots are in the shade with direct access to the beach.the guy at the reception goes the extra mile by explaining everything and always available to help.We paid around 18e for 2 persons and camper with electricity and water included. Outside gate closes at 23:00 and is not possible to enter or exit campsite afterwards. Location is great also because 15m away by car there is the marine di Ragusa. Also make sure to check in before 14:00 or after 16:00 as there will be the ora del silenzio - the hours of silence. Highly recommend this place

Public Areas, Toilets, etc are very clean, we found the pitches to be quite big and you are located right at the beach (with a little private beach area as well). I loved that they had thought of some nice gestures like an ice cream truck and the breakfast truck that are coming to the camping area every day. As for the rules I mentioned above, those are very clearly communicated, so you know what awaits you before hand. Just keep in mind to check before it you can live with them (quiet time during the afternoon,…) All in all, I‘d say this is top notch camping with great facilities.

The stuff is more than friendly and helpful and the other guests are awesome, too. It was a very special atmosphere like being part of a big family. If I'm coming back to sicily I'll definitely come back to Luminoso Camping. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
J	Jill Hickey on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best campsite we have experienced so far on our month long tour of Italy. We are 2 weeks into our tour and this campsite is the best by far. Beautiful location right next to a soft sandy beach with crystal clear water. We are here mid may and its perfect weather and not too busy. The sites facilities are super clean and your toilet is shared with only one other family. Its lockable and unlike many campsites has a seat on the toilet!!!! Dishwashing area is also brilliant with plenty of hot water as are the showers. Staff here are super helpful and friendly. I honestly cannot fault it.
