★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind vom 12. bis 15. April 2022 auf dem schönen Campingplatz gewesen und im dazugehörigen Restautant. Wir waren fast alleine dort, weil der Campingplatz von neuen Betreibern (Francesca und Hans) übernommen wurde und nach 3 Jahren Pause wieder hergerichtet wird. Wir wollten ja eigentlich nur irgendwo übernachten, aber es war so schön dort, dass wir 2 x verlängert haben. Das Besondere an diesem Platz ist die Natur. Überall summt und piept es. Dazu die Ruhe - aber natürlich auch, weil noch nichts los war. Die Sanitäten Anlagen sind älter aber tiptop sauber. Francesca und Hans sprechen beide deutsch, sind herzlich und immer hilfsbereit. Wir haben Wanderungen und Radfahrten unternommen - oder haben einfach nur die Ruhe und den guten Wein genossen.
Besonders zu erwähnen ist noch das Restaurant. Wer gerne ein gutes Stück Fleisch mag, sollte sich hier einmal ein T-Bone-Steak gönnen aber auch die Pizzen waren sehr gut. Und alles nicht teuer.
Wir kommen wieder!

 From April 12th to 15th, 2022 we were on the beautiful campsite and in the associated restaurant. We were almost alone there because the campsite was taken over by new operators (Francesca and Hans) and is being restored after a 3-year break. We actually only wanted to stay somewhere, but it was so nice there that we extended it twice. What is special about this place is nature. It's buzzing and beeping everywhere. In addition, the peace - but of course also because nothing was going on. The sanitary facilities are older but super clean. Francesca and Hans both speak German, are warm and always helpful. We went on hikes and bike rides - or just enjoyed the peace and quiet and the good wine.
The restaurant deserves a special mention. If you like a good piece of meat, you should treat yourself to a T-bone steak here, but the pizzas were also very good. And everything is not expensive.
We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fijne rustige schaduwrijke camping. Sinds januari 2022 een nieuwe eigenaar. Grote plaatsen en super schoon, eenvoudig sanitair. Veel verschillende bomen en struiken. Camping ligt 15 min vanaf de autostrada. Perfect voor een overnachting naar het zuiden. De camping ligt centraal in Toscane. Firenze op 60 min. Siena 45 min. San Gimignano 80 min. Arezzo 20 min. Montepulciano 45 min. Top locatie!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went here just to use the swimming pools. Very nice and convenient. A lot of children running around, but that's just what you have to expect I guess. Cost 10 EUR per person to get in.

My last visit may be just that, my last.
Amateur, albeit polite, service, and the food was nothing short of disappointing.
The starter selection was grim ....cold cuts, crostini, or cold cuts and costini.
The Maccheroni we ordered turned out to be Pappardelle (we were told they are the same!!) , and the Arrosto Girato was almost all fat and no lean. The roast potatoes were dry and old.
On a positive note the mineral water was Pejo, one of my favourites. Altogether a negative experience. Hopefully things will improve soon.
