L'edificio, in mattoni con faccia a vista, è composto da quattro ordini costellati da piccole finestre con arco a tutto sesto e sormontati da una cuspide conica. La parte inferiore del primo ordine poggia su massi in pietra. Nel secondo ordine si aprono piccole bifore con capitello a stampella su fusto poligonale. Lungo la cornice lapidea del terzo ordine, composta da rilievi a forma di palmetta, poggia un'elegante polifora. Il quarto ordine, con cornice fittile a dente di lupo, ospita bifore più ampie per alleggerire il peso della struttura.
The cylindrical shape derives from the Roman defensive towers and the Byzantine watchtowers. The building, in exposed brick, is made up of four orders studded with small windows with round arches and surmounted by a conical spire. The lower part of the first order rests on stone boulders. In the second order there are small mullioned windows with a crutch capital on a polygonal shaft. Along the stone frame of the third order, composed of palmette-shaped reliefs, rests an elegant multi-lancet window. The fourth order, with a fictile wolf tooth frame, houses larger mullioned windows to lighten the weight of the structure.
