Terminato di costruire nel 1908, il campanile è alto 71 m ed è sormontato da un angelo in rame dorato dell'artista veneziano Giuseppe Bottacini. Il campanile, solitamente chiuso al pubblico, è visitabile durante l’annuale “festa della zucca”: si può così godere di un bella vista panoramica della città.
The bell tower of the Parish of Santa Maria Maggiore is one of the most important sacred buildings in the city of Cordenons. Completed in 1908, the bell tower is 71 m high and is surmounted by a gilded copper angel by the Venetian artist Giuseppe Bottacini. The bell tower, usually closed to the public, can be visited during the annual "pumpkin festival": you can thus enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
