La qualita' del prodotto finito unita alla qualita' dei tessuti e' di altissimo livello. Veramente Taylor Made in ogni particolare incluse le cifre e i polsi gemelli. Continuo ad esser affezionato cliente anche dall'altra parte dell'Oceano ! Camiceria Ambrosiana has been my artisan shirt shop for years. Alessandro and his team are competent and helpful. The quality of the finished product combined with the quality of the fabrics is of the highest level. Truly Taylor Made in every detail including the twin digits and cuffs. I continue to be a loyal customer on the other side of the ocean too!

Sempre disponibili ad accontentarci anche in tempi abbastanza brevi. Vivamente consigliabile. We are an events company and we like that all our staff are dressed in an elegant and polite way, they recommended this shirt to us 3 years ago and since then every time I have to redo the shirts for our collaborators we always turn to the Ambrosiana shirt shop for the quality of the fabrics, but above all for their skill, and not least for the kindness with which the owner Alessandro always welcomes us. Always available to satisfy us even in a fairly short time. Highly recommendable.

Serietà, cortesia, professionalismo, la lista dei punti positivi è lunga. La personalizzazione è quasi infinita: mi hanno pure proposto di fare un colletto completamente personalizzato. Non soddisfatti dopo la prima prova, nella stessa giornata sono riusciti a farmene fare una seconda. Il prezzo è certo di conseguenza, però non proibitivo come in certe grandi case di moda. Il servizio non finisce quando le camicie sono pronte, siccome parte del tessuto viene messo da parte per potere cambiare certi pezzi consumati nel futuro. Finite le camicie su Internet o i prezzi scandalosi dei grandi nomi, preferisco comperare dai nostri artigiani che hanno saputo mantenere la qualità del servizio com'era una volta. I tried several bespoke shirts, from the least onerous of a stranger to tailor famous in names like Charvet, however, I have never been so much satisfied as are the Shirts Ambrosiana. Professionalism, courtesy, professionalism, the list of positive points is long. The customization is almost endless: they even suggested that I make a completely customized collar. Not satisfied after the first trial, on the same day they managed to get me a second one. The price is certainly certain, but not as prohibitive as in some large fashion houses. The service does not end when the shirts are ready, as part of the fabric is put aside to be able to change certain pieces consumed in the future. Finite shirts on the Internet or outrageous prices of the big names, I prefer to buy from our artisans who have been able to maintain quality of the service as it once was. La prima gliela hanno fatta provare e poi l'hanno scambiata con un altra al ritiro e le altre due sono di un tessuto diverso, impossibile da stirare. Inoltre hanno cercato di cambiare il prezzo da 130€ a 150€ al ritiro delle camicie.Hanno poi sbagliato le iniziali da incidere...Un disastro insomma... peccato eravamo sicuri del buon nome del negozio ma purtroppo ci siamo fatti fregare ben benino e abbiamo buttato ben 450€ Total disappointment .... My father Davide had 3 tailored shirts made. The first was made to try it on and then they exchanged it with another one at the withdrawal and the other two are of a different fabric, impossible to iron. They also tried to change the price from € 130 to € 150 when they picked up the shirts, and then got the initials wrong to engrave ... A disaster in short ... pity we were sure of the good name of the shop but unfortunately we got fooled very well and we threw away 450 €

Camiceria Ambrosiana is a reliable, well-established (listed as a "bottega storica" by the city of Milan) MTM shirt maker with a good quality-price-ratio, excellent fit and the necessary amount of handwork. I have had various kinds of shirts made here, from winter flannel shirts to a summer cotton-linen overshirt. Ambrosiana has done a particularly good job in making a stiff collar that stays up when worn tieless with a jacket. First-time customers should allow a few days to have a test shirt made and a fitting of the test shirt. All shirts are made in the atelier in via Soncino. Ambrosiana is the only shirt maker I know that offers fabrics from the little known Reiser & Livaditi, a small Milanese mill whose fabrics I've used for some of my favourite shirts.

From the initial email, Alessandro was responsive, personable and professional. When I entered the shop I immediately felt that I was in the company of artisans who take immense pride in their work. It had been some time since I had tailor made clothing and I can honestly say that having clothes made to fit you and only you is a special experience and fills you with a level of confidence that you cannot obtain off the rack. In buying clothes from small, family run ateliers such as Camiceria Ambrosiana you get to participate in a long standing tradition and culture that needs support in the mass-produced, over-commercialized clothing industry. My wife and I had fun choosing the fabrics (the weather in San Francisco is consistently unpredictable), the collars and the cuffs. Great care was taken to make sure the measurements were correct and the ultimate product would fit well based upon my preferences and tastes. During the fitting, we saw men of all ages coming to pick up their shirts. All were greeted warmly as if they were part of the family. My dress shirts are an investment and between the richness of the fabrics and the quality of the workmanship from the collar to the cuffs to the buttons, they are worth every penny.
