Hi all This supplier took our deposit of 7000 euros for supply of marble slabs to Australia, When he begged us to pay the deposit 1 week later said so sorry financially he can’t supply and more And asked for more money , So he could release the slabs We said that would not happen , so we asked other local Italian suppliers. To buy a block of local travertine to contra the account or even buy the stock locally , when he realised there was no money coming he runs away and not responsive This is something we have not encountered in Italy before. Cagnetti srl are obviously not who they say they are as per your email below you said you have great economic difficulties 1. we asked for a refund you said that is impossible at this time 2. we offered our other suppliers to buy the slabs from you as we obviously no longer trust you, and you rejected our offer 3. our supplier offers to buy a travertine block from you to contra the account and you rejected the offer 4. you are no longer responding to my supplier in italy .5 your only request is you will only accept more money from australia which we will not do after we received the attached email from you . how should we respond 6 we dont have any insurance issue , and interesting we hear about this nearly 3 weeks after you were meant to load 7. deposit was paid on the 5th of may , after you said you were booking the container you tell me 2 weeks you have financial issues and you want more money otherwise you cannot load please pick an option 1. ,let local supplier check and pick up and pay for the stock , 2 refund the deposit, 3 allocate deposit to a block you have in stock that will not cause more financial issues for you below is the correspondance and profoma invoice we agreed on
