C	Cesare Coroneo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dopo non aver trovato accoglienza in due aspiranti cool wine bar (nel senso che cool cavolo che mi rivedono) nella piazzetta antistante la basilica perché era troppo tardi per l'aperitivo (19.20.....??) ci accomodiamo senza problema in questo stretto caruggiu. Un Negroni e un bianco mosso. Doppio giro di focaccia e pizza marinara da urlo. Gentilezza, cortesia, semplicità e ironia. Uno dei Negroni migliori mai bevuto, con il bicchiere più ricco di aperitivo che ghiaccio. Ma ci torno sicuramente! After not having found a welcome in two aspiring cool wine bars (in the sense that cool cabbage that see me again) in the square in front of the basilica because it was too late for an aperitif (19.20 ..... ??) we settle down without problem in this narrow caruggiu. A Negroni and a moved white. Double round of focaccia and terrific marinara pizza. Kindness, courtesy, simplicity and irony. One of the best Negroni ever drunk, with a glass richer than ice. But I definitely go back!

We were alerted by the music, old jazzy tunes that are well audible but far from intrusive. Then the service... outstanding. We were very welcome. The menue was explained and recommendations made fitting with our wishes. And when the food came, it was delicious. All notably fresh, well balanced, full of flavor with hardly noticeable use of herbs. Clearly made with passion and love for food and cooking. When visiting Albenga, this is the place to eat. I won't hesitate to frequent this lovely cantina more often.
