M	Mirko Graziani on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quasi 40 minuti per un panino Siciliano ed un panino Caprese. Ad un certo punto i camerieri sono spariti. Quando sono andato dentro per chiedere informazioni ho trovato solo il titolare che, con un mazzo di soldi contanti in mano, saldava il conto a un fornitore. Io ho preso il Siciliano. Il pane mi è sembrato riscaldato o scongelato. Quando ho aperto il panino il primo pensiero è che ci avessero rigurgitato dentro. Nel menù è specificato il formaggio pecorino nel ripieno ma ho trovato solo una sottile "lingua" di "roba bianca" al centro: sarà stato un cucchiaino di formaggio in tutto. L'esterno era bruciato sotto. Tuttavia avevo fame ed ho dovuto mangiare. Col senno di poi, mi sto convincendo che fosse un preparato industriale che hanno dovuto decongelare lentamente (ecco spiegato il tempo di attesa). Quando siamo andati a pagare il titolare era al telefono e la signora dietro al bancone gli ha detto di chiudere la telefonata perché lei non aveva idea di cosa doveva farci pagare. Queste sono cazzate che alla scuola alberghiera ti insegnano fin da subito a non fare: tutto il personale di servizio deve sapere trovare il conto del cliente. Il titolare ha finito la telefonata è solo successivamente ci ha fatto pagare. Almost 40 minutes for a Sicilian sandwich and a Caprese sandwich. At some point the waiters disappeared. When I went inside to ask for information, I found only the owner who, with a bunch of cash in hand, was paying the bill to a supplier. I took the Sicilian. The bread seemed heated or thawed to me. When I opened the sandwich, the first thought was that they had regurgitated in it. The menu specifies the pecorino cheese in the filling but I found only a thin "tongue" of "white stuff" in the center: it must have been a teaspoon of cheese in all. The outside was burnt underneath. However, I was hungry and had to eat. In hindsight, I am convinced that it was an industrial preparation that they had to slowly defrost (this explains the waiting time). When we went to pay the proprietor was on the phone and the lady behind the counter told him to end the call because she had no idea what he was charging us. This is bullshit that the hotel school teaches you right away not to do: all the service staff must know how to find the customer's bill. The owner finished the call and only then charged us.
P	Pietro Nigri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dato il luogo,aperitivo scarso,considerato che c'è anche la cucina,i prezzi normali,ma poca roba,niente di che,se sei italiano lo sai,se sei straniero ti va bene tutto quindi,io lo so,e non è cosa da aperitivi... Il caffè non è eccezionale,il signore che ci ha servito,voglia zero,quindi le 2 stelle sono solo per la posizione e per la possibilità di sedersi fuori,e perché vicino ad una chiesa con cortile accessibili ai "turisti". Given the place, poor aperitif, considering that there is also the kitchen, normal prices, but little stuff, nothing special, if you are Italian you know, if you are a foreigner, everything is fine then, I know, and it is not aperitif thing ... The coffee is not great, the gentleman who served us wants zero, so the 2 stars are only for the location and for the possibility of sitting outside, and because it is close to a church with a courtyard accessible to "tourists".

The spaghetti Sicilliana I ordered was one of the most boring meals I have eaten, its sauce seemingly straight out of a can and its pasta not even al dente. The "local" wine was very poor, and the service most certainly not worth a tip - the rather arch waiter lost interest completely when, in reply to his question about my enjoyment of the meal, I commented on its mediocrity. Eat somewhere else. The Scillian beer was quite nice.
