★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service déplorable. Au croissant demandé (en montrant une photo), on nous a servi un pain aux raisins qui était loin d'être frais. Le serveur insistait pour dire que c'était un croissant. Non. Du coup, le serveur m'a ramené un croissant et le pain aux raisins, qu'il a fallu payer aussi.
Deplorable service. At the requested croissant (showing a photo) we were served a raisin bread which was far from fresh. The waiter insisted it was a croissant. No. Suddenly, the waiter brought me a croissant and the raisin bread, which I also had to pay for.

Ho ordinato il cappuccino offrendomi di pagare la differenza....mi è stata chiesta la differenza di 1€ per aver preso un cappuccino invece del caffè....
Very good breakfast, agreement with the hostel which included a coffee and a croissant.
I ordered the cappuccino offering to pay the difference .... I was asked for the difference of 1 € for having a cappuccino instead of the coffee ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local bars near a city's main railway station are not always my thing.This place however, was super. It's just a little bar, but the staff are friendly, we got free nibbles with our one bottle of beer, plus advice and directions. The toilet is big, clean and accessible. The beer wasn't much more expensive than in a corner shop. Sure, they don't speak English, it's a local bar in Sicily ffs. Put on your big boy pants and dig out your phrasebook :) I'd go further than that. It's actually worth a visit for a little local colour.
