★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passeggiando per le vie del Borgo Castello ci siamo innamorati del “Frantoio”, un'antica grotta in cui sono appesi tantissimi caciocavalli a stagionare, esposti scenicamente per il pubblico che transita lì. Inoltre, durante lo Sponz Festival c'era la possibilità di gustarne un assaggio servito all'interno di simpatici "cuoppi". Così il giorno successivo non potevamo che recarci al punto vendita del produttore, in centro a Caltri, per acquistare questo autentico tesoretto irpino e portarlo via con noi, di ritorno verso Napoli...
Strolling through the streets of Borgo Castello we fell in love with the "Frantoio", an ancient cave in which many caciocavalli are hung to mature, scenically displayed for the public passing there. In addition, during the Sponz Festival there was the opportunity to enjoy a taste served in nice "cuoppi". So the next day we could only go to the manufacturer's store, in the center of Caltri, to buy this authentic Irpinia treasure and take it away with us, back to Naples ...

All'interno però ci sono tutte le bontà prodotte dal caseificio D&D.
Se vi trovate in zona, è assulatamente da visitare.
Very elegant shop, from the outside it could easily be mistaken for a jewelry or a fashion boutique.
Inside, however, there are all the goodness produced by the D&D dairy.
If you are in the area, it is a must to visit.

Punto vendita dal design accattivante e innovativo, ma il linea con la tradizione (basti pensare al lampadario a forma di pertica, l'antica asta dove venivano messi ad esseiccare i caciovalli!) e prodotti favolosi. Gentilezza e cortesia del personale notevoli.
Simply a unique place of its kind. Point of sale with an attractive and innovative design, but in line with tradition (just think of the perch-shaped chandelier, the ancient auction where caciovalli were put to essiccare!) And fabulous products. Remarkable kindness and courtesy of the staff.
