★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben schöne Urlaubs Tage verbracht. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Interessiertes Ambiente mit vielen Büchern und Antiquitäten.
Schön wäre schönere Sitzmöglichkeiten im großzügigen Garten.
 We spent wonderful vacation days. Very good breakfast. Interesting ambience with lots of books and antiques.
Nice seating in the spacious garden would be nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prenotato per disperazione in marzo2020, la fiera di Bologna aveva esaurito ogni luogo nell'area bolognese. Il lockdown non ci ha permesso di soggiornare e, senza problemi, siamo andati questo settembre per turismo. Ottimo tutto, il palazzo una meraviglia, serviti con garbo e senza ossessioni. Colazione abbondante e tranquilla. Varie cose, che per 4hotel sarebbero dei minus, qui passano senza ledere il soggiorno. Il silenzio più assoluto degli ultimi anni. PS, se avessi avuto un drink, avrei goduto al 100% il terrazzo con il cielo stellato.
Booked out of desperation in March 2020, the Bologna fair had sold out every place in the Bologna area. The lockdown did not allow us to stay and, without problems, we went this September for tourism. Everything is excellent, the palace is a marvel, served with grace and without obsessions. Plentiful and quiet breakfast. Various things, which for 4hotels would be minuses, pass here without affecting the stay. The most absolute silence in recent years. PS, if I had had a drink, I would have enjoyed 100% the terrace with the starry sky.

Consiglio questo posto anche per gruppi (noi eravamo in 14) perché dispone di ampi spazi comuni e di tutto l’occorrente (giochi di società, cucina, terrazzo). Abbiamo avuto solo un po’ dì problemi con il riscaldamento ma tutto si è presto risolto grazie ad un personale molto disponibile e attento alle nostre esigenze.

Perfect for our Smart working meeting! I also recommend this place for groups (there were 14 of us) because it has large common areas and everything you need (board games, kitchen, terrace). We only had a few problems with the heating but everything was quickly resolved thanks to the staff who were very helpful and attentive to our needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was our last night in Italy we paid €180 per room really disappointed we arrived late afternoon to be met with someone who could not speak any English rooms were spacious left to our own devices went down for breakfast to find we had to help ourselves to breakfast no-one around

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is a "must-go" for anyone who wants to find peace. Quiet, reserved, extremely well decorated. The staff is there for anything you need, even if it is something that is not offered by the hotel. I can't complain about it. Absolutely wonderful. Just make sure you have a car when you go there. Or at least a cell with internet, so you can contact the hotel first. Go on foot is not an option!

Breakfast: simple, complete and tasty.
Room: giant, clean, well-equipped and well-furnished.
Palace: incredibly well restored and maintained, its details are a feast for the eyes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hotel looks great (old-style charm), for us improvements could be done in having the staff speak English (so the check-in process is more smooth and friendly and guests can ask questions) and bringing the breakfast up to the level of the environment, it was prepared when we arrived for check-in the day before so didn’t seem so fresh.

It really exceeded our expectations, the building has been nicely renovated and it's very comfortable and they have kept many historical elements which makes the place really charming. The breakfast was truly amazing. The gardens surrounding the building are lovely. Great value for the price we paid!
