L'area fu oggetto di pesanti demolizioni tra le due guerre mondiali per ripristinare quello che era l'aspetto originale ovvero aperto e non chiuso da costruzioni tra la basilica e le colonne. Vi è anche una statua di Costantino che ricorda il periodo storico dell'editto di Milano (313 d.C.)
Nice picturesque place to ancient at the same time represents one of the most evident traces of Milan imperial capital. The area was the subject of heavy demolitions between the two world wars to restore what was the original aspect or open and not closed by buildings between the basilica and the columns. There is also a statue of Constantine which recalls the historical period of the edict of Milan (313 AD)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La fermata del tram si trova su un marciapiede di piccolissime dimensioni ma purtroppo non ci si può fare nulla essendo che si tratta di una via piuttosto antica e quindi anche stretta. La zona invece è ottima per un aperitivo o semplicemente una passeggiata, sia verso il centro che verso la Darsena.
The tram stop is located on a very small sidewalk but unfortunately there is nothing you can do as it is a rather old street and therefore also narrow. The area, on the other hand, is excellent for an aperitif or simply a walk, both towards the center and towards the Darsena.
