Siamo entrati nel negozio di computer Apple, al cui interno c’era un bel po’ di gente. Il mio papà si è avvicinato con garbo alla commessa chiedendo di poter essere servito non appena possibile, mentre la commessa terminava una ulteriore vendita. Nel chiedere chi fosse il prossimo, lui si è avvicinato ed ha ricordato alla stessa di potergli dare retta, ma la commessa faceva notare il “bel po’ di gente” che aspettava. Il mio papà, ancora una volta, le ha fatto notare, sempre in modo garbato, che con lui c’ero io, seduta in carrozzella ad aspettare il turno! Anche l’altro commesso, che era con lei, gli ha ricordato che ci fosse gente ad aspettare prima di me, in carrozzella! Al che mio padre ha ricordato loro che, in un paese civile ed attento ai cosiddetti Diritti Civili, le donne in gravidanza e i disabili, specie se in carrozzella, hanno la precedenza rispetto al “bel po’ di gente” che era in coda. Sapete loro cosa hanno risposto: “Non possiamo farla passare prima perché c’è gente prima di lei!” Mi piacerebbe che questa brutta storiella possa viaggiare e toccare tutti voi, affinché sia condivisa e denunciata con forza in questo mondo apparentemente civile e rispettoso di noi “fragili”. Grazie per avermi ascoltata. "PILLS OF (in) CIVILIZATION" This morning I went with my father to the Mongolfiera Shopping Center.
