Non c'è una biglietteria automatica e nemmeno un' obliteratrice (i biglietti vanno fatti dal capotreno appena saliti sul treno); c'è giusto una panchina per sedersi sotto una minuscola pensilina. La stazione è molto comoda per andare al Parco di Monza, in quanto si trova a meno di 1km di distanza dalla Porta San Giorgio. Servita dai treni Milano-Molteno-Lecco. Unattended stop without any service. There is no automatic ticketing or even an obliterator (tickets must be made by the conductor as soon as you get on the train); there is just a bench to sit under a tiny shelter. The station is very convenient for going to the Monza Park, as it is located less than 1km away from Porta San Giorgio. Served by the Milan-Molteno-Lecco trains.

Al contrario di quest'ultima, posta lungo la ferrovia Milano-Lecco via Carnate, quella di Buttafava è servita dai treni del Servizio Suburbano di Milano n. S7 (Milano-Lecco via Molteno). Si tratta di una stazione molto essenziale, dotata di un unico marciapiede e del fabbricato viaggiatori recentemente restaurato. È comunque locata in posizione molto comoda: dista infatti poco più di un chilometro dalla Porta di San Giorgio del Parco di Monza. The Buttafava station is, in fact, the second most important railway stop in Arcore after the station located in Piazza Martiri della Libertà. Unlike the latter, located along the Milan-Lecco railway via Carnate, that of Buttafava is served by the trains of the Milan Suburban Service n. S7 (Milan-Lecco via Molteno). It is a very basic station, with a single platform and the recently restored passenger building. However, it is located in a very convenient position: it is in fact just over a kilometer from the Porta di San Giorgio of the Monza Park.

Si tratta di un semplice marciapiede con una panchina, c'è una piccola tettoia, non so se sia effettiva col sole. Niente biglietteria o sala d'attesa, niente monitor, solo annunci audio.
