Twin castle to the Welsberg castle complex. Not adequate access. Very little visited. Remains of the fire ruin. Still worth a short visit.

It's beautiful from a distance, but in winter there is a cross-country ski trail around, so it's not perfect with a pram :))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È una romantica rovina situata di fronte al più conosciuto Castel Welsperg.
Originario del XIII secolo, venne abbandonato quasi 300 anni fa e, nel 1765, distrutto da un forte incendio.
Ne rimane una torre alta 22 metri con un ingresso a 3 metri di altezza e pochi altri resti.
Si raggiunge più comodamente dal bordo della strada per la Val di Casies oppure ( con un po' più di difficolta', da un sentiero attraverso il bosco.
Privata, allo stato di rudere, non è visitabile.
It is a romantic ruin located opposite the better known Welsperg Castle.
Originally from the 13th century, it was abandoned almost 300 years ago and, in 1765, destroyed by a strong fire.
A 22 meter high tower remains with an entrance 3 meters high and a few other remains.
It can be reached more comfortably from the edge of the road to Val di Casies or (with a little more difficulty, by a path through the woods.
Private, in a state of ruin, it cannot be visited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La torre di per sé é bella e monumentale. Dispiace non essere accessibile alle persone in quanto non ha varchi di accesso, se non una porta posta a 3 metri di altezza. La via per l'accesso é solo dalla strada sotto il castello, l'altra dalla val casies é sbarrata da vegetazione e alberi
The tower itself is beautiful and monumental. Sorry not to be accessible to people as it has no access gates, if not a door placed at a height of 3 meters. The access road is only from the road below the castle, the other from the val casies is blocked by vegetation and trees
