β β β β β great location.even in a town like vieste where many restaurants boast a sea view, we find the street (via pola) to be especially quaint. although the seating is on a sidewalk it is quiet and undisturbed (for some reason that part of vieste is less crowded and less touristy, and always quiet every time we come down from castello where our flat is)the view over the lighthouse and the basilica is very charming.we went there just for beer and some appetizer first.but decided to stay for dinner.we had bruschetta simplica, octopus in olive oil and lemon juice, spaghetti with mussels, grilled seabass, coffee and tiramisu.all very good especially bruschetta, and fish. but what is better than food is our server. a young man from budapest who is just so positive, and happy at work (a rare quality in today's youth!) we have been here for a month already (and this is our second month long stay in vieste) we are very happy to have tried this place and will return before we go back to the states in a week.

β β β β β The worst food I have ever had in Italy. In fact the only time I ever had bad food in Italy in the last 38 years. Cozze picante absolutely tasteless, not even the slightest taste of spices. Insalata with no balsamico or olive oil and even after asking several times for it, nothing happened. The waitress was too busy staring at her smartphone. Worst food and worst service, this ristorante should be closed down.
