Frequento la scuola da ottobre 2015; mi sono iscritta perchè avevo necessità di migliorare il mio livello di inglese per interesse personale, poi a lavoro mi hanno richiesto una certificazione internazionale e quindi anche quest’anno ho chiesto il loro aiuto per prepararmi. Non potevo fare scelta migliore, sono soddisfattissima!! Gli insegnanti sono molto professionali, tutti madrelingua, lo staff di segreteria sempre molto gentile. Ho fatto la preparazione all’esame IELTS in gruppo,classi piccole al massimo 10 persone, e grazie ai miei mitici insegnanti ho preso un bel 7 (ho ricevuto i complimenti dal mio capo!!). Il metodo è basato sulla conversazione con 3 incontri a settimana e se perdevo le lezioni le potevo recuperare senza problemi! Assolutamente consigliato!! Martina

Finalmente ho trovato la scuola di inglese che cercavo: ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo (prezzi imbattibili con possibilità di acquistare pacchetti di lezioni), massima flessibilità, efficienza, cortesia, professionalità, vasta gamma di corsi in giorni e orari diversi (praticamente ogni giorno dalle 10 alle 21.30). Avere la possibilità di recuperare le lezioni perse senza perdere le ore pagate è un servizio unico e vantaggioso che io credo solo il the new british centre offra. I corsi sono formati da mini gruppi di studenti dello stesso livello ( max 6/7 persone), i docenti sono preparati, cordiali e qualificati, i materiali didattici forniti sono stimolanti, completi e mirati ad un apprendimento efficace. La scuola offre la possibilità di fare il corso sia in presenza sia a distanza usando la loro piattaforma didattica che trovo molto semplice e comoda. Posso soltanto consigliare questa scuola e ringraziare lo staff per l'ottimo servizio offerto. Sono veramente contenta e soddisfatta! Continuerò sicuramente il mio percorso di apprendimento della lingua inglese con loro !

Mia figlia Giorgia (8 anni) frequenta questa scuola da tre anni ed è migliorata tantissimo sia dal punto di vista della grammatica, della conversazione, che del dialogo. Ha avuto una crescita esponenziale. Si trova molto bene, e vederla contenta nel fare lezione non ha prezzo. La consiglio a tutti soprattutto perché ci sono insegnanti molto professionali soprattutto teacher Bea, teacher Clear e teacher Lara (e ne approfitto per ringraziarle personalmente per la dedizione e per la professionalità con cui hanno seguito mia figlia)...sono molto attente e brave con i bambini. Grazie anche a TUTTE le ragazze delle segreterie, in particolare Luvy, Martina ed Irene...il fiore all'occhiello della scuola. Sempre pronte a rispondere ed a risolvere ogni domanda; mi hanno sempre supportato (e sopportato!) con estrema dolcezza, professionalità, gentilezza e con un sorriso. Pienamente soddisfatta. Complimenti...continuate così. Ah, forniscono anche il libro per seguire le lezioni. Grazie da parte mia e di Giorgia

Ho sostenuto 30 lezioni private in questa scuola per poter prepararmi al meglio all'esame di certificazione IELTS. Sebbene sia dell'idea che bisogna studiare tanto per conto proprio, ho trovato grande competenza fra gli insegnanti, che mi hanno permesso di curare ogni minimo dettaglio e dubbio, non solo relativo alla grammatica. Inoltre il libro di testo fornito contiene esercitazioni dello stesso livello delle prove d'esame, quindi è stato formativo anche da questo punto di vista.

Great school, great teachers, great people!

Aggressive staff and I back up all of the negative comments left below. terrible school with terrible people inside. I had an interview there and they ripped me to pieces personally (I was only 19 years old) I came home crying. Nasty nasty people. The boss Daniela needs to crawl under the rock she appeared from.

I used to work as a teacher in this school, and its unprofessional workplace that disrespects both students as teachers. Most of the teachers are not native speaker and are forced to lie to students and invent stories that they are native speakers. Nobody asked me if I had any qualification to teach or any relevant experience. The atmosphere in the school is awful, with a whole bunch of ridiculously stupid rules such as lying to students, not being allowed to sit during lessons (standing for 10h straight..) to name just a few Don’t be fooled by fake smile of Daniela, all the staff and teachers: most of the teachers quit as soon as they find a more decent teaching position.

I know that there are mixed reviews, so I will at least share what I can of my experience from years ago. I lived in Rome for many years, and while I was there and searching for work, I came across the British Centre and was there for a short time. I want to say this, perhaps to say what the Centre itself cannot say for probably lots of legal reasons. There were many people there that were hard working, that cared, that wanted what was best. The problem was not the staff or many of the teachers. Daniela Moretti was in charge, and from my short time there, all I could see was that she was a toxic problem who made a hostile work environment that ruined the quality of the school and exploited everyone involved: the teachers, the staff, and even the students. She hired people who were not natives and had no training and simply had them lie about their credentials and that they were native speakers. Sometimes they would even make mistakes in their teaching and teach the students bad English. She forced them to work for 10 hours straight and wouldn't let them eat. The training was a joke and did nothing. She terrified the receptionists and the teachers and created an environment of deceit. The bad reviews are true and even an understatement as far as how the school was years ago. They are not lying. However, it seems like Daniela left in 2018. Daniela was the only big problem I could see when I was there. If Daniela is still there or if she still has any influence over the school, I would not trust it. However, if she is completely and totally gone, things are probably much, much better now than the bad reviews say. I would totally give them a chance and go check them out now. The other people that worked there were trying hard, cared, and wanted the best for their students. Teachers still would give 100% and help students even in those terrible conditions. If she is gone, then I have full confidence that the situation could have changed very much for the better. There were good people there, and the teaching material was very good. With the books that they have and qualified, native teachers, it could be an amazing school.
