Mi ricordo bene che tutti gli ufficiali e sottufficiali erano persone serie. Se ti comportavi bene non avevi problemi. L'unica cosa che ricordo male era la mensa. Era una caserma operativa e la vita militare era un po dura al contrario di miei amici capitati in altre caserme in Italia dove se la spassavano. La struttura era vecchia allora, speriamo sia stata ristrutturata dopo 25 anni... Comunque la posizione è ottima perchè a due passi dal centro di Bologna che è una città vivibile. In this barracks I worked as a conscript in 95 (3rd group), then there was the 6th Bersaglieri Regiment. It was an operational barracks and military life was a bit harsh as opposed to my friends who came to other barracks in Italy where they had a good time. The structure was old then, we hope it has been renovated after 25 years ... However, the location is excellent because a stone's throw from the center of Bologna which is a livable city.

Ricordo che si mangiava malissimo, ho girato altre caserme ma questa era la peggiore mensa, ci sono stato poco proprio per la missione al estero e per i campi addestramento essendo una caserma operativa. Bologna era freddissima d'estate e caldissima d'inverno, bella esperienza. I did my military service in 1993, I was 4th group '93, we were the group that went to Somalia. I remember that we ate very badly, I shot other barracks but this was the worst canteen, I was there just for the mission abroad and for the training camps being an operational barracks. Bologna was very cold in summer and very hot in winter, beautiful experience.
