Bei meinen Besuch war er frisch hergerichtet und strahlte in kräftigen Farben. The train station is one of many surviving film sets from the Don Camillo and Peppone films. When I visited it was freshly made up and shone in bright colors.

Heute noch lebt das ganze Dorf praktisch von den Geschichten von Don Camillo und Peppone. Wenn man in die Kirche geht und natürlich sieht sie genauso aus wie vor 70 Jahren, kommt zugleich der Pfarrer mit einem Klingelbeutel und erwartet dass man dann einen Schein, mindestens fünf Euro, hinein liegt. Gute alte Welt, ein schönes Dorf direkt neben dem Po. Auch ein Requisit, die große Glocke aus Kunststoff, viel leichter wie ein Guss, hängt neben dem Museum und kann neben vielen anderen Sachen da herum, angeschaut werden. Das Museum bietet auf zwei Ebenen viele Exponate und Bilder aus der Zeit der Aufnahmen. We all know the 5 films that were made in Brescello with Don Camilo and Peppone. The whole village still lives on the stories of Don Camillo and Peppone. When you go to church and of course it looks the same as it did 70 years ago, the pastor comes at the same time with a bell bag and expects you to put a note of at least five euros in it. Good old world, a lovely village right next to the Po. Also a prop, the big plastic bell, much lighter than a casting, hangs next to the museum and can be looked at along with many other things. The museum offers many exhibits and pictures from the time of the recordings on two levels.
