Metto solo 3 stelle perché non è la prima volta che mi reco alle 8:20 orario di apertura ma mi vedo costretta ad attendere 25 minuti in attesa che il personale addetto apra la filiale.

I only give 3 stars because it is not the first time I go to 8:20 opening time but I am forced to wait 25 minutes waiting for the staff to open the branch.

Carime, acronimo di casse di risparmio meridionali, é stato l'istituto bancario costituito dalla fusione delle casse di risparmio, ossia, di Calabria e di Lucania, di Puglia e Salernitana. Banca Carime poi assorbita da Ubi Banca, (Unione di Banche Italiane). Ubi Banca che, da pochissimo, é stata a sua volta assorbita da Intesa San Paolo, che però ha dovuto cedere oltre 500 filiali alla Banca Popolare dell'Emilia e Romagna. Si parla, quanto a Carime, di banca caratterizzata da forte legame con i rispettivi territori di competenza, che dunque godevano di servizi bancari tecnicamente al passo con i tempi, ma anche a condizioni di tipo privilegiato rispetto a quelle del credito nazionale in genere. Non a caso la Cassa di Risparmio capo-fila di Carime, ossia la Cassa di Risparmio calabro\lucana, aveva adottato lo slogan " la banca di casa tua" ! E va pure detto che, pur nel contesto di Ubi, Carime e riuscita a sopravvivere, ideologicamente, nel radicamento con i rispettivi territori. Ma, ormai, Banca Carime, dopo gli ultimissimi avvenimenti, molto difficilmente potrà continuare a mantenere non solo quello che storicamente é stato un vincolo vero e proprio con il territorio, ma anche la stessa memoria nelle genti che si avvantaggiarono di quelle originarie realtà creditizie... Le Casse di Risparmio, appunto !!

As for Carime, we are talking about a bank characterized by a strong link with the respective territories of competence, which therefore enjoyed banking services that were technically in step with the times, but also at conditions of a privileged type compared to those of national credit in general. It is no coincidence that the Carime Savings Bank, the Calabrian / Lucanian Savings Bank, had adopted the slogan "your home bank"! And it must also be said that, even in the context of Ubi, Carime managed to survive, ideologically, in the roots with their respective territories. But, by now, Banca Carime, after the very latest events, is very unlikely to continue to maintain not only what historically has been a real bond with the territory, but also the very memory of the people who took advantage of those original credit realities. .. The Savings Banks, in fact !!
