Su consiglio di un'amica mi sono recata al negozio Timmy Boutique alla ricerca di un abito da cerimonia per il matrimonio di mio figlio. Dopo qualche prova, mi è stato proposto un abito che con grande sollievo incontrava i miei gusti. In attesa delle riparazioni sartoriali, decido di lasciare un acconto e tornare a casa felice.
La sera decido di ricercare il mio abito sul web. Digito "Clips Abito lungo" e tra i primissimi risultati vi era la pagina web Yoox, dove con mia grande sorpresa vedo lo stesso abito, stessa marca, stesso colore. L'unica piccola differenza era il prezzo. L'abito prenotato da Timmy costava di base €1.080, scontato € 800 ; quello su Yoox costava di base € 274, scontato € 217.
Dopo una notte insonne, mi presento il giorno dopo in negozio spiegando quanto successo la sera precedente. Vengo accolta in una saletta privata dalla proprietaria e dalla commercialista che non rimangono affatto stupiti che avessi trovato lo stesso abito in rete anzi hanno anticipato loro il nome del sito.
Mi avevano assicurato che si trattava di un abito della nuova collezione e per giustificarsi mi dicono che l'abito era un capo continuativo, come se si trattasse di un paio di slip Intimissimi...e che le mie parole non servivano perché sapevano come gestire la situazione. Mi hanno restituito velocemente l'acconto invitandomi a ritornare per vedere i nuovi arrivi.
In conclusione, stavo acquistando un abito da stock al prezzo di un buon abito da cerimonia.

On the advice of a friend, I went to the Timmy Boutique shop in search of a formal dress for my son's wedding. After a few tests, I was offered a dress that met my tastes with great relief. While waiting for the tailoring repairs, I decide to leave a deposit and go home happy.
In the evening I decide to search for my dress on the web. I type "Clips Long dress" and one of the very first results was the Yoox web page, where to my great surprise I see the same dress, same brand, same color. The only small difference was the price. The dress booked by Timmy cost a basic € 1,080, discounted € 800; the one on Yoox cost a basic € 274, discounted € 217.
After a sleepless night, I show up the next day in the shop explaining what happened the previous evening. I am welcomed in a private room by the owner and the accountant who are not at all surprised that I had found the same dress on the net, on the contrary, they anticipated the name of the site for them.
They assured me that it was a dress from the new collection and to justify themselves they tell me that the dress was a continuous garment, as if it were a pair of Intimissimi briefs ... and that my words were useless because they knew how to manage the situation. They quickly returned the deposit and invited me to come back to see the new arrivals.
In conclusion, I was buying a stock dress for the price of a good formal dress.
