Aperto al pubblico e curato dalla LIPU (solo tre siti in tutta la Sicilia) è ben tenuto e mette a disposizione diversi percorsi per passeggiate green e due postazioni sul lago dalle quali ammirare le cicogne. Stupendo il loro canto notturno. Ho visto anche un paio di volpi nei sentieri. Ritornerò per capire quale percorso compiere per effettuare il giro totale attorno al lago. Aggiungo una foto con il QR code per visitare il sito/percorso da remoto... Dimenticavo: ci sono due aree per picnic. Una sola preghiera: lasciate più pulito di quando arrivate. Siamo sempre i soliti a girare questi siti e dobbiamo aiutare chi li cura. Grazie alla LIPU!
 Beautiful place! Open to the public and cared for by LIPU (only three sites in all of Sicily), it is well maintained and offers several paths for green walks and two positions on the lake from which to admire the storks. Their nocturnal singing is wonderful. I also saw a couple of foxes in the trails. I will return to understand which route to take to make the total tour around the lake. I add a photo with the QR code to visit the site / route remotely ... I forgot: there are two picnic areas. One prayer: leave cleaner than when you arrive. We are always the usual ones to turn these sites and we must help those who care them. Thanks to LIPU!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un'oasi naturalistica, un paradiso. Luogo ideale per vivere una giornata a stretto contatto con la natura. Area picnic, parco giochi per bambini, area parcheggio camper e non solo, percorso equestre e terrazze per osservare le specie migratorie che transitano per ristorarsi. Grazie ai volontari della Lipu di Niscemi per lo spirito di abnegazione che proteggono e mantengono vivibile questa riserva naturalistica.
A naturalistic oasis, a paradise. Ideal place to live a day in close contact with nature. Picnic area, playground for children, camper parking area and more, equestrian path and terraces to observe migratory species that pass through for refreshment. Thanks to the volunteers of the Lipu di Niscemi for the spirit of self-denial who protect and keep this nature reserve liveable.

In inverno è possibile ammirare gli uccelli acquatici che qui migrano e sostano prima di tornare nel nord Europa.
Ideal nature reserve for a walk or for a family picnic, in relaxation, totally in contact with nature.
In winter it is possible to admire the water birds that migrate here and stop before returning to northern Europe.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel posto noi siamo arrivati con il camper e abbiamo chiesto se era possibile stare li nel parcheggio dinnanzi al centro parco per la notte alchè l’indomani avremmo fatto l’anello del lago. Nessun problema ci hanno risposto e noi così abbiamo fatto, dormito benissimo e tranquilli il giorno dopo di buon mattino abbiamo fatto il giro ad anello del lago , abbiamo avvisato più di una volta anche aquila anatraia minore , magari sono più di una mentre ghermiva preda . C’erano anche diversi assioli in atteggiamento di spirito santo. Ripeto bel posto mi auguro che lo mantengano sempre così
Nice place we arrived with the camper and we asked if it was possible to stay there in the parking lot in front of the park center for the night so that the next day we would make the loop of the lake. No problem they answered us and we did so, slept well and quietly the next day early in the morning we made the ring tour of the lake, we have also warned more than once even lesser spotted eagle, maybe there are more than one while it was grabbing prey. There were also several scops owl in an attitude of holy spirit. I repeat beautiful place I hope they always keep it that way
