★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho visitato diversi negozi della zona e devo dire che Bike Lab è tra i migliori. Oltre alla vasta gamma di prodotti in vendita e la gentilezza del personale, ho trovato davvero utile la visita biomeccanica effettuata dal Dr De Stefano. Consigliatissimo!
 I have visited several shops in the area and I must say that Bike Lab is among the best. In addition to the wide range of products on sale and the kindness of the staff, I found the biomechanical visit carried out by Dr De Stefano really useful. Highly recommended!

Ho portato la mia bici in questo negozio per una revisione dei freni e del cambio [20euro]. Al ritiro ho chiesto se fosse stato fatto quello che avevo chiesto e ho ricevuto una conferma un po' insicura [forse ora ne comprendo la causa]. Non giudico assolutamente le persone che vi lavorano, che reputo educate e disponibili, sto giudicando il servizio ricevuto.
I freni erano regolati, il problema riscontrato, dopo averla provata, era nel cambio. Quando ho portato la bici, avevo un problema con in comando cambio, la catena non prendeva l'ultima corona e si fermava alla sesta. Dopo averla ritirata, non solo il problema non era stato risolto, ma vi era lo stesso anche al cambio anteriore. Il giorno dopo prendo la bici e dopo 20 metri, si spacca il movimento centrale. Così decido, di metterla in macchina e portarla al negozio a cui mi sono sempre affidato, ma che purtroppo si trova fuori salerno. Qui con 35 euro ho avuto una revisione completa, il cambio funziona in maniera perfetta, mi hanno cambiato il pezzo rotto e anche il tubo del sellino [piegatosi col tempo] con un tubo di alluminio, mi fermo qui ma potrei elencare altro. Un consiglio a chi leggerà questa recensione: se dovete acquistare potete rivolgervi a qualunque negozio, le bici le vendono tutti; ma se avete bisogno di assistenza, se abitate a salerno centro e non volete allontanarvi troppo, andate da ROMANO a via Irno, ma più di tutti consiglio CICLI UGOLINO a Pastena.

I brought my bike to this shop for a brake and gearbox overhaul [20euro]. At the retreat I asked if what I asked for had been done and I received a somewhat insecure confirmation [perhaps now I understand the cause]. I absolutely do not judge the people who work there, whom I consider polite and helpful, I am judging the service received.
The brakes were adjusted, the problem encountered, after trying it, was in the gearbox. When I brought the bike, I had a problem with the gearbox in command, the chain did not take the last chainring and stopped at the sixth. After picking it up, not only had the problem not been resolved, but the same was also the case at the front gearbox. The next day I take the bike and after 20 meters, the bottom bracket splits. So I decide to put it in the car and take it to the shop I have always trusted, but which is unfortunately located outside Salerno. Here with 35 euros I had a complete overhaul, the gearbox works perfectly, I have changed the broken piece and also the seat tube [bent over time] with an aluminum tube, I stop here but I could list more. A word of advice to those who will read this review: if you have to buy you can go to any shop, the bikes all sell them; but if you need assistance, if you live in Salerno center and don't want to go too far, go from ROMANO to via Irno, but most of all I recommend CICLI UGOLINO in Pastena.

Per quanto riguarda il personale ho solo da fare elogi a tutto lo staff per la competenza, la gentilezza e l'empatia che hanno dimostrato nel gestire un cliente non facile come me. Sono capitato il giorno in cui c'era il dottore di biomeccanica Pasquale e parlando con lo staff di alcuni miei problemi quando vado in bici, mi hanno consigliato la visita. Così ho colto l'occasione al volo. Il dottore dopo un attenta analisi ha modificato la mia bici in base alle mie misure corporee in modo da farmi pedalare nella posizione corretta. Devo dire sono molto contento del risultato, i miei problemi in bici sono svaniti dopo questa visita. Ci tenevo a ringraziarvi.
I already knew the shop, very well stocked and with fair prices compared to others. I find the staff very professional, prepared and kind. I happened the day when the biomechanics doctor Pasquale was there and talking to the staff about some of my problems when I ride a bike, they recommended me the visit. So I jumped at the opportunity. After a careful analysis, the doctor modified my bike according to my body measurements in order to make me pedal in the correct position. I have to say I am very happy with the result, my cycling problems disappeared after this visit. I wanted to thank you.

The pedal of one of the bikes literally fell off in the middle of the Amalfi coast! When we phoned them and explained the situation, they said that it was too expensive to assist us. We managed to grab a taxi to a different bike rental after a while, and they fixed the bike. Upon returning to Bike Lab, they refused to compensate for anything except the repair. Which the other bike rental shop made free of charge. After a exchange of words with the owners mother! we got a symbolic discount.
The only reason this even happened was due to the subpar standard of the bikes.
Do yourself a favour and find an other bike rental place
