Frequentata dai locali e molto meno dai turisti è provvista di numerosi tomi cartacei (rarità di questi tempi) e induce tentazioni letterarie anche ai più tecnologici.
Nelle silenziose sale, tra scaffali di libri e riviste, trovano posto anche studenti e scolari studiosi che utilizzano i locali per meglio concentrarsi e utilizzare le moderne tecnologie.
Comoda ben arredata e sobriamente illuminata, propone il prestito esterno dei romanzi, previa tessera gratuita da sottoscrivere in loco, perdendo però il "fascino" del luogo.
In un ambiente di recente rinnovato che fa parlare sottovoce perfino il piccolo popolo dei marmocchi, altrimenti festante, un'isola di cultura e di congregazione tra i paesi della vallata.
