★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I Carmelitani Scalzi venuti a Pisa nel 1719 si trasferirono nel Convento di San Torpè nel 1816 da dove iniziarono la fondazione del nucleo documentario sfuggito con la soppressione napoleonica all'incameramento dei beni conventuali.
Attualmente la Biblioteca di San Torpè è visibile in MOP (Meta Opac Pisano), Sistema Bibliotecario Pisano delle tre Università pisane (Università, SNS e SSSUP) e del CNR. Dispone di un catalogo per autori e soggetti di circa 52.000 volumi ed è specializzata in teologia e spiritualità.
 The Discalced Carmelites who came to Pisa in 1719 moved to the Convent of San Torpè in 1816 from where they began the foundation of the documentary nucleus escaped with the Napoleonic suppression of the confiscation of the conventual assets.
Currently the San Torpè Library is visible in MOP (Meta Opac Pisano), the Pisan Library System of the three Pisan Universities (Universities, SNS and SSSUP) and of the CNR. It has a catalog for authors and subjects of about 52,000 volumes and specializes in theology and spirituality.
