★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posizionata nel centro della città con annesso comodissimo parcheggio, la Biblioteca è un centro di cultura con galleria per mostre temporanee, una sala per incontri e conferenze dotata di sistemi audiovisivi moderni, una sezione interamente dedicata ai ragazzi con un fitto calendario di iniziative a loro dedicate.
Forse il fiore all'occhiello della Biblioteca è il chiostro ampio e spazioso che ospita concerti e manifestazioni all'aperto collegati con i più importanti eventi culturali cittadini. C'è anche un bar caffetteria e anche piccolo ristorantino con tavoli disposti sotto le arcate e i portici del chiostro.
Located in the city center with an adjoining convenient parking lot, the Library is a cultural center with a gallery for temporary exhibitions, a meeting and conference room equipped with modern audiovisual systems, a section entirely dedicated to children with a full calendar of initiatives dedicated to them. .
Perhaps the flagship of the Library is the large and spacious cloister which hosts concerts and outdoor events connected with the most important cultural events in the city. There is also a coffee bar and also a small restaurant with tables arranged under the arches and arcades of the cloister.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oltre ad essere un ottimo in cui studiare, la Biblioteca Civica di Pordenone offre un'interessante Sezione musica, collocata al primo piano.
Presenta un'ampia scelta di documenti audio e video (CD e DVD) disponibili al prestito per 10 giorni, la cui consultazione in sede è sempre possibile, anche per i documenti esclusi dal prestito, grazie ad apposite postazioni per l'ascolto e la visione.
La raccolta di CD musicali copre buona parte dei diversi generi musicali: musica classica, lirica, pop e rock italiana e straniera, etnica, jazz e colonne sonore. Esiste anche una sezione dedicata ai musicisti della regione, distribuiti a livello nazionale o autoprodotti.
La raccolta di DVD è costituita in prevalenza da documentari di natura musicale (concerti, opere liriche, spettacoli musicali e di danza). Sono presenti anche documentari che trattano di argomenti diversi (docu-film, reportage, storia, scienze, natura, arte, viaggi e altro).
