★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mixed feelings about this place given the high reviews which don’t make sense to me. Yes there are many cute little touches - the boat structure breakfast is served on, the view of Ostuni that is unobstructed, the jacuzzi, sea-themed motifs in the room, the hosts are smiling always - but these detract and blind from basic quality issues. The room had bugs (woodlouse) in the evening, crawling on the ceiling and on the floor, who must have gotten in via the sand decorating the room. The room price is high for what what you get, given it is basically a residence which has simply been ‘done up’ well. They recommended us a restaurant for dinner which was pretty bad by Italian standards. The quality of ingredients at the breakfast spread is low. When checking out they oddly only accept cash as their bancomat was ‘broken’, and we had to rectify the value of the receipt to the right amount.
Overall there are highlights that make this place unique, but there is room for improvement. And if it were priced and pitched slightly lower, I could have better accepted the quality issues. But for €125/night (for room and jacuzzi use) in Ostuni, we would have expected much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Everything, the hosts were fabulous, the location, the view, the beautiful decor, the hot tub, the welcome drinks, the breakfast terrace, the restaurant recommendations! What a fabulous stay! We felt welcome from the first minute we pulled the car in.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The location is excellent, and the breakfast is great. The hosts are also very friendly! The parking is free and very handy too!. Negative: We booked this partly due to the hot tub - unfortunately there was a 30’euro charge to use this for cleaning each time. Our room faced into the car park - the lights were on each night which was quite disruptive..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sara was incredibly friendly and could not have been more accommodating. Everything from offering suggestions on restaurants to bringing breakfast to our room.
The room was clean and well maintained. Amazing views of the city from the balcony and lots of space for 2 people. With the incredibly high ceilings and big window, the room was very bright and airy. Very relaxing.
Room also had a safe, small fridge and a kettle with tea. Convenient for an early morning tea on the balcony.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The room was lovely and spacious, and very comfortable. Had a gorgeous view from the balcony. Sara, the host, was very kind and helpful, giving us a welcome drink and snack, as well fantastic recommendations for dinner. It was the best meal we had in Puglia! Parking was fantastic, private on the property itself so felt very safe and secure. Breakfast was good, had a variety (salami, cheese, croissant, fruits) but nothing special.. Negative: The curtains didn’t shut properly- needs looking at. Loud dogs could be heard all night when the window was open unfortunately so we had to keep them shut which made the room a little warm. The shower head in the bathroom had quite poor pressure, but otherwise a very good size. Wasps at breakfast were irritating and distracting. Once Sara gave us a burner / candle they reduced but still didn’t completely go away..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Beautiful room, wonderful outdoor breakfast with great unopposed views of Ostuni and olive fields till the sea. Extremely warm, accommodating and helpful hosts. Perfect location; very quiet but within very short walk to main square of Ostuni's old town and easy to travel by car to the coast or inland villages/towns.. Negative: Nothing.
