★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stupenda piazza nella parte bassa di Bergamo ricca di storia, arte, cultura e riferimento commerciale. Nella piazza si trovano storici palazzi del 1400 anche con i portici, mentre al centro si trovano due fontane realizzate da Gianni Remuzzi e da Luigi Angelini. Famoso il discorso che Giuseppe Mazzini fece da uno di questi palazzi per incitare i Bergamaschi a combattere contro gli austriaci. Importanti e interessanti attività commerciali si trovano nella piazza sotto i portici.
 Superb square in the lower part of Bergamo rich in history, art, culture and commercial reference. In the square there are historic buildings from the 1400s also with arcades, while in the center there are two fountains made by Gianni Remuzzi and Luigi Angelini. The speech that Giuseppe Mazzini made from one of these palaces to incite the Bergamaschi to fight against the Austrians is famous. Important and interesting commercial activities are located in the square under the arcades.
