What can I say ... You can go with your eyes closed, everything is wonderful. Starting with Ludovico, a special person. So kind and helpful, with excellent ideas, he also helped me to resolve an uncomfortable situation that was not his responsibility, as if he were a friend. His is the real bed and breakfast. It's his home, a historic home, that welcomes you with its historic furniture along with modern details, and make you feel at ease. The common part is comfortable and welcoming. If the weather was bad outside, or you got tired of going around, you will gladly come back as if it were your home. The rooms are all different, and all make you feel good. Bright, large and colorful bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows. All rooms are warm, with radiators that do not force you to sleep with those noisy air conditioners in winter. But there are also those, if the radiators, always turned on at the right temperature, should not be enough. Between the temperature of the various rooms and the parquet floor, you can walk barefoot in winter. For breakfast, also the surprise of fresh croissants from the pastry shop. In the room fridge, fruit juices and water available, and kettle to make yourself a tea. You can really take a vacation of several days, you will only be sorry to greet a person and your house so beautiful ...

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Adelberga Bed & Breakfast in mid October 2013. We can't say enough about Ludovico, the owner, and how he made our trip to Salerno much more enjoyable. The bed & breakfast is about 8/10 of a mile from the train station, located in the old, historic area of town. We arrived late on a Saturday night and Ludovico stood on the corner looking for us to help guide us to the hotel. What a great person! The rooms were very clean and updated. The breakfast was great. Ludovico was ready to recommend what to see and do, where to eat, how and where to take the ferries to the Amalfi coast or to Capri. There was so much to see and do around Salerno that we decided to stay 2 more nights. Unfortunately the Adelberga B&B was booked but Ludovico has another B&B, Zara B&B on Via Zara, near the train station that had just been opened 10 days. His wife runs Zara B&B, and again, we were delighted with our stay here as well. Ludovico even transferred our luggage to Zara B&B in his car. Again, Ludovico is very service oriented. Zara B&B is very modern, and very clean, and we highly recommend it as well.
