I went there twice.
I tried Grostel it was very nice except the side cabbage.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably one of the reasons why we didn't like it so much was that we didn't order their specialties. (We didn't order beer nor their sausages) But I still think that the food could have been better. The taste and the quality were quite average and a bit over-priced for what you get in Bozen. But the staffs were very helpful and sweet- I give points to that! Also this place serves traditional food from here and the place has some good atmosphere, so it's not a bad choice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the best food in the city. Shady, tranquil garden service off the jam-packed, tour infested downtown pedestrian zone. Great local food, two course lunches such as goulash, sausages, knödel, gnocchi, spaghetti etc. Co-located with their own brewery producing eclectic lager and weißbeer. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great own brewed beer, beergarden & street terrace. service was okay. I've been there 3 different times during a week time, and got twice a mixed up order. Other than that I've had a great time.
The beer sampler was awesome! I liked every single one of them!
Batzen burger was well cooked, but a little too heavy on the herbs for my taste.
The baked camembert was very good, with a tasty potato salad.
The cheese platter is for 200% a recommendation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice atmosphere in an old charming house, friendly (but somewhat slow service) and acceptable food (nothing special though).
Maybe worth a try if you are a beer lover ....did not try but they seem to have a large selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok. So there are a lot of places that try to do this. Brew house and steak / pasta But this gets it all perfect. From the stained glass windows , atmosphere, bier menu and food ( I had the best steak in the last year ).
