★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La Basilica, chiamata dai cittadini "collegiata" è bella, slanciata in verticale, imponente, con ornamenti ricchi e sostenuta da colonne lisce, a sezione circolare, estremamente rare dal punto di vista architettonico, tanto da costituire un unicum sotto questo aspetto. Merita una visita. ⛪

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella chiesa rinascimentale, quasi obbligatorio visitarla dopo la difficoltosa visita al Cenacolo il cui ingresso è, nella piazza, alla sua sinistra. Notevoli opere al suo interno per gli amanti di storia dell’arte e non.
Beautiful Renaissance church, almost mandatory to visit it after the difficult visit to the Last Supper whose entrance is, in the square, on its left. Remarkable works inside for lovers of art history and not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La basilica è molto bella. Purtroppo il polittico è poco illuminato e visibile solo da lontano.
In generale Cortemaggiore è bella ma sembra non puntare affatto sulla sua natura di “città d’arte”. Tutti i monumenti sono chiusi e un po’ transandati. I turisti sono pochi ma anche poco incentivati a venire!
The basilica is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the polyptych is dimly lit and visible only from a distance.
In general Cortemaggiore is beautiful but does not seem to focus on its nature as a "city of art" at all. All the monuments are closed and somewhat transient. Tourists are few but also have little incentive to come!
