★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nella spianata ai piedi della seicentesca chiesa di San Giocanni risalta quel che resta della basilica di Sant'Eufemia, importante edificio romanico a tre navate, altrettante absidi e cripta, con portico ad ali antistante. La parte meglio conservata delle strutture romaniche è la cripta. Ben riconoscibile a circa metà della navata è anche la base del campanile, verosimilmente sorto sulla fondazione della torre d'avvistamento romana che dominava l'isola.

In the esplanade at the foot of the seventeenth-century church of San Giocanni what remains of the basilica of Sant'Eufemia stands out, an important Romanesque building with three naves, as many apses and crypt, with a portico with wings in front. The best preserved part of the Romanesque structures is the crypt. The base of the bell tower is also clearly recognizable at about half of the nave, probably built on the foundation of the Roman watchtower that dominated the island.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sãpãturile arheologice au scos la suprafata biserica fondatã în 1031 si distrusã în 1169.Foarte bine conservatã este cripta, iar anumite repere si fragmente descoperite sunt pastrate în Antiquarium. Meritã sã le vedeti pe toate si sa va bucurati de linistea si frumusetea acestei insule pe care au fost construite.RECOMANDAT !!!
Archaeological excavations have uncovered the church founded in 1031 and destroyed in 1169. The crypt is very well preserved, and some landmarks and fragments discovered are preserved in the Antiquarium. It is worth to see them all and enjoy the peace and beauty of this island on which they were built. RECOMMENDED !!!
