More than good food, excellent staff. Typical mountain atmosphere.loo highly recommend this restaurant. Here I ate the most tender meat ever.

Sughi congelati e scongelati al momento al punto di non capire se stai mangiando le tagliatelle ordinate o la minestra (tanta era l'acqua dovuta allo scongelamento in fondo al piatto). La tagliata alla griglia emanava un odore nauseabondo. Una sola persona tutto fare, cucinava, controllava il greenpass e riscuoteva alla cassa.. Non mi sento di aggiungere altro. Veramente una delusione. Bad experience. Poor quality products. Sauces frozen and defrosted at the moment to the point of not knowing if you are eating the ordered noodles or the soup (so much was the water due to defrosting at the bottom of the plate). The cut on the grill gave off a nauseating smell. Only one person doing everything, cooking, checking the greenpass and collecting at the cashier .. I don't feel like saying anything else. Really a disappointment.

Il prezzo in base alla dose è caro € 8,00 una fettina sottile di scaloppina con tre funghi sbriciolati. Accoglienza zero ma do la colpa al troppo affollamento del locale e poco personale. Wednesday is the only place open, the food is good but given with a dropper. The price based on the dose is expensive € 8.00 a thin slice of escalope with three crumbled mushrooms. Zero reception but I blame the too crowded and not very personal.

Personale borioso, la signora che ci ha servito poco cortese, il ragazzo gentile e competente, idem la ragazza che ci ha fatto il conto, simpatica e gentile. Sul cibo stendiamo un velo pietoso. Non pensavo di andare a mangiare la polenta istantanea di bassa qualità all'Abetone. Formaggi e salumi buoni. Location molto carina con panorama eccezionale. Classic low quality tourist menu at high prices. The only good things were the wine and the coffee. Arrogant staff, the lady who served us was not very courteous, the guy was kind and competent, the same was the girl who made the bill, nice and kind. Over the food we spread a merciful veil. I didn't think I was going to eat low quality instant polenta at Abetone. Good cheeses and meats. Very nice location with exceptional views.

Finalmente arrivato al locale, ho trovato un'accoglienza speciale, come se fosse una cena a "casa"... Personale fantastico, pronto a "raccontare" ogni piatto con i giusti tempi, ed accorto nel servire subito acqua e pane... Tagliatelle(superbe), funghi porcini (oltre il comune), polenta con ragù vari, tanti antipasti e vini e dolci. Sicuramente da ritornare se capita. For a day at the abetone I chose this trattoria admiring the numerous positive reviews. The staff was very nice over the phone. Finally arrived at the restaurant, I found a special welcome, as if it were a dinner at "home" ... Fantastic staff, ready to "tell" each dish at the right time, and quick to serve water and bread immediately ... Tagliatelle (superb), porcini mushrooms (beyond the common), polenta with various meat sauce, many appetizers and wines and desserts. Definitely to come back if it happens.

La stufa a legna al centro della sala crea una piacevolissima atmosfera. I salumi di selvaggina sono ottimi (ne aumenterei soltanto un pochino la quantità). Polenta con i Porcini e dessert casalinghi da 10! Titolare simpaticissima! Torneremo! The tavern is located on the main road of Abetone, easy to find and with a panoramic view of the valley. The wood stove in the center of the room creates a very pleasant atmosphere. The game cured meats are excellent (I would only increase the quantity a little). Polenta with Porcini and homemade desserts for 10! Very nice owner! We'll be back!
