Ma la cosa più negativa è che spesso mi sono trovato a veder pulire il banco con una pezza a mani nude e con le stesse mani non rilevate, preparare cappuccini o maneggiare prodotti. Non capisco i bar che fluttuano nella mediocrità. Basterebbe poco per dare freschezza al locale e renderlo molto più ospitale e appetibile. Taranto's historic bar, in fact reminiscent of prehistory. E' importante specificare questo dettaglio in quanto ci sono pasticcerie nettamente superiori sia nell'assortimento sia nella qualità specie della piccola pasticceria, basta pensare a Messinese, La Panna, La Gardenia, La Gioia, Petrosillo, Dolciart, un'altra in Via Mezzetti, con i pasticceri più bravi e le più recenti Nilde, La Vie en Rose e molte altre. Per ben due volte (in due differenti occasioni) ho dovuto redarguire (e sopportare anche reazioni verbali ai limiti dell'ingiuria!) dei clienti che ordinavano tranquillamente senza mascherina, nel silenzio del personale, assolutamente disattento (o attento a far cassa!) e privo di rispetto nei confronti di tutta la clientela presente, rispettosa delle regole e, purtroppo, anch'essa silenziosa di fronte ad un'evidente ingiustizia!
