★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brioche col tuoppo e granita alla fragola con panna. Buonissime entrambe. Peccato visto che quasi fine stagione i gusti delle granite fossero limitati(speravo in quella di gelso...)
Intanto per il viaggio di ritorno a casa ci siamo portati via cannoli e cassatine.
Brioche with yourppo and strawberry granita with cream. Both very good. Too bad since almost the end of the season the flavors of the granitas were limited (I was hoping for the mulberry one ...)
In the meantime, for the journey home we took cannoli and cassatine with us.

Siamo arrivati per caso al Bar pasticeria Merina, il locale non è nuovissimo ma ben tenuto e pulito. I proprietari sono molto accoglienti ma il ricordo più goloso è certamente il cannolo o forse è meglio chiamarlo con il suo meritato nome: il signor Cannolo. Ci hanno servito una cura all'ipoglicemia, 20 cm di cialda croccante riempita di crema di ricotta , crema o cioccolato , fatti al momento. Preso il coraggio a due mani( il cannolo) e posticipata la dieta, mi sono mangiato questa sfiziosità siciliana : Buono, buono e buono.
Prezzi onesti.
La pasticceria Merina ci ha proprio sorpresi.

We arrived by chance at the Merina pastry shop, the place is not brand new but well kept and clean. The owners are very welcoming but the most gluttonous memory is certainly the cannolo or perhaps it is better to call it by its well-deserved name: Mr. Cannolo. They served us a cure for hypoglycemia, 20 cm of crunchy waffle filled with ricotta cream, cream or chocolate, made on the spot. Taking the courage in two hands (the cannoli) and postponing the diet, I ate this Sicilian delicacy: Good, good and good.
Honest prices.
The Merina pastry really surprised us.
