★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una volta era un posto molto particolare e parlo al tempo della buon'Anima di Ignazio, purtroppo quando sono passato era chiuso, chissà com'è cambiato adesso? Ma il posto merita senz'altro di essere visitato, Petralia Soprana, un paese ricco di storia, arte e paesaggi meravigliosi, che si va spopolando cedendo pian piano all'incuria, grazie alle politiche disastrose perpetuate da numerosi decenni ai danni dell'economia Italiana in genere.

But the place certainly deserves to be visited, Petralia Soprana, a country rich in history, art and wonderful landscapes, which is becoming depopulated and gradually yielding to neglect, thanks to the disastrous policies perpetuated for many decades to the detriment of the Italian economy generally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bar storico di Petralia Soprana dove i figli, due bravi ragazzi legati alle proprie radici, decidono di restare e credere nel futuro. Ottimo il caffè ed il gelato. Lo sfogghiu, una torta preparata con un’antica ricetta delle monache del tempo, è un autentico capolavoro di dolce che racconta il passato piacevolmente.

Il freddo della zona ci invoglia a fare uno strappo di gola, e tra sfogline e delizie alla ricotta, palato totalmente soddisfatto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a unique and awesome place! There was an otherworldly kind guy at the counter who recommended some local cakes - sooo goooooood. Oh and they also make ice cream with the same flaviur - cinammon, chocolate and ricotta which you should totally run to get, right now!
