Abbiamo ordinato come antipasto il salmone marinato ed è arrivato un piatto con 4 fette di pesce tagliato longitudinalmente cioè fette per il lungo, parallele alla lisca e con tutto il marrone del sangue al centro con solo un centimetro di salmone mangiabile ai lati di ciascuna fetta (peccato che non ho fatto una foto). Il piatto era tiepido e il salmone era proprio "crudo" così ho chiesto di cambiarlo ma mi è stato proposto di "ripassarlo" al salmoriglio...ho accettato ma il piatto che è arrivato era sempre lo stesso...solo più tiepido e con più olio e limone. Mio marito ha preso un piatto di spaghetti con la mollica che erano sciapi e senza sapore e per secondo gli involtini di maiale che erano crudi... abbiamo lasciato tutto!!!! Ma abbiamo pagato 40€ per un antipasto,un primo,un secondo e una bottiglia di acqua! A Licata con lo stesso prezzo si mangia bene in due! DA DIMENTICARE!!! TO FORGET!!! We ordered the marinated salmon as an appetizer and came a plate with 4 slices of fish cut lengthwise i.e. slices lengthwise, parallel to the bone and with all the brown of the blood in the center with only an inch of edible salmon on each side ( pity I didn't take a picture). The dish was lukewarm and the salmon was really "raw" so I asked to change it but I was offered to "saute it" with salmoriglio ... I accepted but the dish that arrived was always the same ... only warmer and with more oil and lemon. My husband had a plate of spaghetti with crumbs which were thin and tasteless and for second the pork rolls which were raw ... we left everything !!!! But we paid 40 € for an appetizer, a first, a second and a bottle of water! In Licata for the same price you can eat well for two! TO FORGET!!!

Pizza ottima con bordo ripieno di mozzarella e i panini fatti veramente bene, con prodotti di ottima qualità abbiamo provato anche il panino con la milza tipico palermitano e vi dico che è buono come a Palermo. Fanno anche ristorante e con i da asporto. Lo consiglio a tutti. Every time we go to the sea in licata it is a must to go to Ballarò. Excellent pizza with a rim filled with mozzarella and the sandwiches made really well, with excellent quality products we also tried the typical Palermo spleen sandwich and I tell you that it is as good as in Palermo. They also do restaurant and takeaways. I recommend it to everybody.

I panini speciali sono buonissimi ed enormi ed anche le buone forchette sono messe in "piacevole" difficoltà. Ordinata anche una pizza, ben condita e gustosa. Cortesia, gentilezza ed ironia del titolare fanno da bella cornice ad un luogo dove mangiar bene, abbuffandosi in compagnia, per una serata all'insegna della convivialità. Sala interna molto ben allestita, con raffigurazioni di Palermo e delle sue bellezze architettoniche, in tema col nome del locale. Bagni puliti, servizio efficiente e ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Lo consiglio vivamente, da tornarci sicuramente e ripetutamente. A place suggested almost by chance and strongly supported by gourmet friends. The special sandwiches are delicious and huge and even foodies are put in "pleasant" difficulty. Also ordered a pizza, well seasoned and tasty. Courtesy, kindness and irony of the owner are the beautiful setting for a place where you can eat well, binge in company, for an evening of conviviality. Very well set up internal room, with depictions of Palermo and its architectural beauties, according to the name of the place. Clean bathrooms, efficient service and excellent value for money. I highly recommend it, to be back for sure and repeatedly.
