★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately a RUDE experience. As an English speaking tourist travelling Italy for the last 2 weeks, this has been the low light of my holiday.
This experience started with myself greeting the blonde lady behind the counter with ciao and an attempt at ordering a simple pastry in broken Italian. When she replied in Italian, I responded with 'Sorry? English please?', and this was met with 'You can't understand Italian when you order in Italian?!!' in a very horrible attitude. Regrettably, I handed over payment and she muttered some Italian as we walked out of the otherwise empty store. A very disheartening attitude from a lovely city.
Like the previous reviewer has mentioned, and from the Facebook photos I have seen, this woman is not the owner of the store but for the sake of the owners, I think that it would be best to be kinder to the many tourists visiting such a wonderful city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad and unacceptable attitude from the counter lady. She was very impatient at the moment we walked in and was showing very vad attitude. We were the only customers in the shop and we don't understand why she was so impatient. We asked her the price of the pastry and she rolled her eyes before answering us. Most likely she is not the owner of the bakery as we don't expect any owner will try to ruin their business by showing this kind of attidue. We will never go back again. We can't comment on the taste of the pastry as nothing will taste good with this kind of attitude.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I'm pretty sure the owner has taken note of the attendants behavior (as mentioned in earlier posts) because she was quite friendly and helpful.
I would, however, suggest going before 2 pm if u like more fresh products.
I enjoyed the sfogliatella!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the galani fritti and the fornarine from here. The shop is very cute and has many other pastries to choose from. These pastries were pretty good, but weren't my favorite pastries to eat, but I think that was due to the pastry itself, not the bakery. I would recommend, choosing a different pastry if you like your desserts sweet!
